Jus came to a realization do you know the movie called “the road to el dorado” In this movie you can see the very same infrastructure as of the Mayans and they also played a very similar ball game I watched the show years ago as kid but it never came to me that it was actually showings us the life of the Mayan people ( they also sacrificed people )

Question. A) Can it be said that the Mayan empire was similar to that of the ancient chinese empire ? Can they be related? In the sense that: 1) Mayan Men had one wife along with concubines. In ancient china, chinese men of a high class were allowed to have a wife and concubines. 2) The political structure, relating to the fact that in ancient china there was a superior ruler (an emperor) and there were states with rulers as well under the emperor. Its similar to the Mayan political structure. B) Were the Babylonians, ancient Egyptians and the Mayans related to each other?

Good analysis. There were in fact many civilizations that shared similarities in social and political structure to each other, despite being far apart geographically. This could be attributed to several factors, including (1) possible cultural influences that trickle down through the years as Civilizations interact with each other, and (2) a perceived universal human instinct in leadership design which would focus on some form of authority figure creation In terms of the Babylonians, Egyptians and Mayans: Babylonians and Egyptians originated, in theory, from different people groups. The Mayan civilization is younger than the first two, so the chances of there being a relation is slim, unless there were Voyages undertaken from Africa to the Americas during Pre-Columbian times.
