Got this as an ad before a video and I'm really glad I didn't skip it. I'm not very religious anymore and not really a good fit for the navy but this was still INCREDIBLY touching. Need more amazing women out there like her. Love her philosophy and approach to other religions and thoughts, it doesn't matter as long as she can find a way to help.

I’ve been dealing with really bad depression and anxiety lately and although I’m still struggling, this video saved me. It’s giving me hope not give up even though everything feels hopeless. Thank you for sharing this. I will def be watching this on repeat.

CHAPLAIN WILSON, YOU ARE AMAZING!!! I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT YOU DO US PROUD!!! Right now, tears of gratitude are streaming down my face from reading the article and watching the video depicting your service. I screamed at the screen, PREACH, DAUGHTER!!! I'm CDR Joyce Irvin Harris, CHC, USN (Ret.) I am one of the first 13 Black clergywomen in the United States Navy Chaplain Corps. I was a Reservist who served from 1981-2001. However, I was never a Weekend Warrior. For 16 years I annually did a 90+ day block of active duty wherever the Chaplain Corps needed to send me. That included being activated to serve 168 days at the National Naval Medical Center during Operation Desert Storm. My prayer is that you enjoy fair winds and following seas! ⚓

She seems like an incredible woman just from this short video. I got this as an ad at first and couldn’t skip. I’m currently not even very religious, more spiritual. But wow. She gets it. She has an open mind, and tends to the hearts of all. I hope one day we can meet.
