From 14 to 30 secs with consistent mindful, almost daily vocalizes for 1 year. I've been a long time smoker aswell, so I'm proud and did not really expect such a drastic change within 1 year. Can't imagine how much faster the progression will take place when I stop smoking all-togheter. ✨

@@sanketdeshmukh7490 yes. A relaxed deep breath prior to hissing. Do not hiss too forcefully. A pulse is optimal if your support muscles are too weak to engage without strain.

Hey I made it to 60 which is the longest i've ever done so thank you!. I probably made it because I'd just been through the mem mem lesson which was also a great lesson. What i'm not sure about is when either singing or just practicing these, will i get better results if i HOLD my ribs open with muscular exertion or do i just let them go where they want comfortably? I hope you understand what i mean.

Did 50 seconds!! Proud. :) Essentially, it's because I didn't push myself as far as you did. At 50 seconds, like you, I started getting tense and feeling my throat squeezing, like yours was, and I just gave in, which I see you still pushed through. Probably, if I had squeezed, I could've done a few more seconds, I hope. maybe 55 :') But anything over 30 seconds is enough, right?

But it's about how loud our hiss is too. If we make a soft hiss we can hiss much longer. I might have been cheating but I could hiss for a longer time than one minute. My problem is that when I sing, I don't have that control of the hiss and I put a lot of my air out and I don't have any left.

What if my hissing is unstable, during my hissing I expelled more air, and some time I controlled better, was that cheating? does my hissing need to be stable and firm all the time? Justin I noticed that by the end of your hissing at the 50 second mark and above you hiss harder to get to one minute, so I assume that's Ok, is that right? I ask because you mention that we can have longer phrases so I'm assuming that the air needs to be stable, consistent, small and steady for whatever seconds I hold it, am I right? Thanks!!
