We started our Yatra on 04th June 2019 from Gurdwara Gobind Ghat to Gurdwara Gobind Dham, our first night hault was at Gurdwara Gobind Dham.
On 05th June At around 04:30 in Morning, we started our Yatra to Shri Hemkunt Sahib, reached Shri Hemkunt Sahib and returned back to Gobind Dham on same day.Jus
On 06th June we went from Gobind Dham to Valley of Flowers, spent half a day there, then we returned back to Gobind Ghat on same day.
Best time to do this Yatra is in September, You will find pleasant weather, crowd will be less, you will have a great time,
Shri Hemkunt Sahib Opening date is 1st June it could be week later or earlier, depending upon the weather conditions. And Closing date is around 01st October again depending upon the climatic conditions. We would suggest you to refer to their Facebook page for updated information. bit.ly/2kJEnZf
Shri Hemkunt sahib Trust have made Gurudwara’s (Rishikesh, Srinagar, Joshimath, Gobind Ghat and Gobind Dham) for people who are travelling to Shri Hemkunt Sahib.
In these gurudwara people get to stay in Hall or in room(As per availability), Food at Langar hall and Medical Facilities for the Travelers.

Because all temples are under Govt control. Tumhari ignorance aur murkhta ka kya kehna . Temples don't even have money to even open vedpathsalas because govt takes all the money. Its the govt who commercialized the temples. Hindu society don't have any control on their temples but that same govt only give 750 pm salary to purohita and pujaris. Sikhs have complete control on their gurudwaras and religious properties. So has muslims and Christians. Do you even know chruch and muslim wakf have more properties than govt of India. They are minority but their religious and institutional properties are way more than govt of India. Hindus are nowhere in line. In Tamil Nadu alone govt has stolen more than 40 lakh acre properties of temples. So blame the govt of you see anything wrong in services around temples.

@Prasanna Chitnis Sikh dharm ke gurudware sikho ke pass hai , hinduo ke mandir govt ke kabje me hai. Isiliye tum log bakchodi to karo mat apni agyanta me. Mahant , pujaris ko jab 200 , 500, 750 rupiye mahina salary milegi bas to wo log apne parivaar ko kaise pale ge aur wo apne bacho ko balki pujari bhi nahi banayege. Mahant, pujaris, sadhus inka khyal rakhna samajh ka kaam hota hota hai.. Yaha tak ki mandiro par tax bhi lagta hai , upar se govt 30% service charge leti hai ,iske baad kuch nahi bachta mandiro ke paas. Masjid, church, gurudware par koi tax nahi lagta aur govt himmat bhi nahi kar sakti inko apne control me lene ke liye.

When I went first time in 1076, there was no temple. But next time in 1978, there was a small temple near ladies bath area (ishnaanarea). Hardly any one go there. Public get hot food and tea full of milk from Gurughar. It is so cold that after short time they try to come down. I was there 17 times. Always beautiful and like a heaven. Only once I did Parikarma of the lake.

A good summer outing. I been to this place 3 times from USA and 14 when in India. all times trekking. A very pleasant experience. First time in 1976 when there were not so many facilities. Not so many inns. You have to sleep in guru sahib parkash area at Ghat and dham. There were few shops on the way. But every body was very friendly and helpful. Now the number has gone up but I do not know how public react in a crowd. A nice place to visit.

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh !! I was in college when I did this Yatra , it was so cold and heavy snow all around. Oxygen level was very low. I am talking about 30 years back , when we took a dip in cold spring water , it was freezing. We did our prayers after that we got such yummy Tea and Rusk ( typically Indian wafer) to drink . I have no words to express how yummy that cup of tea was . There is also Ram Mandir also next to Gurdwara . Back then , we had all the privileges to do this yatra now after watching your vlog it has become 5 star facilities provided to people . Back then also it free and I have so much Respect for people who do these Seva . Very Nice . Thank you Harishji for freshening my memories. 🙏

shabd nahi hai tareef ke liye. this is for sure the most strenous part of the journey, not only the trek but also the efforts of your cameramen is very very commendable.
