I love your socks and that is my next quest- wonder on the heel, would you have been better off doing a mix for strength - that seems to be why the “nylon” in the sock blend - since I have some sock yarn and also straight wool, am trying to decide for myself --what size needle do you use, and circular>? Or DP ?? Fun video as always - !!!😊

Thanks, Virginia! I should have said in the video, any of the 3 pairs of socks I’ve knit so far, I only use around the house or in bed, not in shoes. I have particular brands of very tightly woven athletic socks I wear in shoes and boots…right now anyway! That’s how I’m able to get away with the yarn. Although there are knitters on KZbin that use these rustic sock yarns without nylon. The Wooly Thistle pod talks regularly about this. Happy New Year!!

Sorry, I did t answer your other question. Always a size US 1 on 9 inch circulars. I use 2 sets of 9 inch circulars to do the toe…half the stitches on each.
