EP 21 - Wood Pigeon Wonderland and roost shooting

This video has some shooting in the snow at Woodpigeons that had been hitting an oil seed rape crop hard. Louis and Max joined us but sadly the snow deterred the pigeon from coming in numbers but we managed a few and had a laugh. The second Saturday afternoon sees Jon, Alex, Merlin and I in a small wood which the pigeons loved. The shooting was difficult but I was on fire.

Nice, do you know Motty (Wane) shot over peas yesterday, no line just a few local birds, pup got 2 retrieves out of the 25 I got.

The Essex Hunter not personally but I do know of him. Decent Fowler and shot from what I understand. That’s great your pup is getting some work. Got a pea field back of my house and it’s crawling but can’t get permission.
