Minute 46. To answer the question correctly, on an IUL if the cash value grows too much, the policy hits corridor, and in order for the policy not to become a MEC, the DB grows parallel with the cash value. So for example on an overfunded accumulation IUL if we hit corridor at age 70, by age 90 the DB could double from the initial $100K.

All annuities have no risk. Can't loose the what you put in. They all have fees and caps or %. That is how they can guarantee principle wont dip.
