Seeing those concrete lintels ... Back in the day, one of my first jobs was working at 'Star Works' in Knowle Hill making those buggers all day ... No Health & Safety Gestapo back then ... They'd have had a Field day - Stretching those Steel Cables came with regular SNAPS! that would cut you in half instantly - We used to have a bit of old Chain-Link fencing each end to hide behind 😄 .... And cleaning the concrete mixing drum out each night came with the risk that some Nutter would turn it on while you were in there (Just for laughs) 😂 .... Those were the days EH?? .....

Lovely work. If you haven’t been tested for Haemochromatosis, it’s worth getting it done. Genetic blood disorder leading excess iron in the blood. Common symptom, joint damage. My brother and I have just been diagnosed in our 50’s and he’s just had a hip replacement. It also destroys your liver. Simple blood test to find out and simply treated.

Have you ever used machinery / plant ? There just so much to go wrong in the ground and most groundworkers are shit in my opinion not all obviously but leaving such important stuff to do do's is risky ...

The lads on this job good. I think are good and bad tradesmen in every trade mate. We use forklift daily and digger on extension when digging footings 🤙🏻
