Really great insight as to the behind the scenes of this type of life style. Plus the 70's mic really made it cool.

Nice couple. Interesting their view about having two engines. Keeping the house makes sense as long as you come back to it like they do or not gone away from it too long. I think a month away from the home would be my max. Your interviewing skills have improved. 👍🏼 Thanks for doing interviews with others. It’s good to get a different prospective. Ram 👍🏼👍🏽

@@GrandAdventure Thanks for the “invite”. One of these days... We just got back from an unplanned trip to Ft Bragg. We have our annual coast trip planned in February and hopefully we will be headed out to southern Utah in May, Lord willing. After just finishing a three month long strike, been re-thinking about wrapping it up the career this December. We’ll see. Appreciate your videos, Ram 👍🏼👍🏽

Hey Marc, Great interview with these guys. Interesting to see a different take on full time RVing. We went all in selling the house but i can see why keeping the house is a great safety net. We are really reconsidering our KZbin commitment, we are not on a schedule anymore, just putting out videos when we we feel like it. We used to wing it, now we try to plan more, especially winter in Florida. We dont stay at commercial campgrounds and have never stayed at a KOA yet. We do TT to save money when we can. enjoyed this interview, love to see more interviews like this. Larry.

Thanks as always Larry! Glad that you enjoyed our conversation with these terrific folks. It's easy to hit KZbin burnout, but you folks are just too good at it to let things slide.

Very interesting commentary. Most interesting for me was that not all diesel pushers do stiff grades very well. 45' motorhomes really need the Cummings X15 with 1,950 ft/lbs. Gord

This year has been busy trying to find spots boondocking and campgrounds. The heat changed our plans in the northwest too.

Well, we were dumb enough to figure, "This is the Northwest, this can't last all summer." Yes, it can.

We would all like to see the country on the fly. We can sometimes travel flexibly and then you better have reservations other times it’s not always so clear cut.
@GrandAdventure3 жыл бұрын
True that, Don. This year we found ourselves running for hookups far more often than usual due to the excessive heat; however, that wasn't always easy in the age of 2021. About a month ago we more or less abandoned traveling on the fly in favor of doing some planning, only out of necessity.

We have been full time for now since May. Seeing the country has been Amazing. South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, hard to pick a favorite. We are now in Arizona where we will spend the winter. So much to see here. After a lifetime of cold damp Cape Cod winters this is great. Great interview.

Linda and Jamie were wonderful guests for your round table. I too am planning to part time so this was nice to hear from RVers that have experienced part time. I look forward to watching Roaming with Rosie. I got the T-shirt that I ordered from you and I was pleasantly surprised with the hi quality of the shirt. I'm probably going to another one just because of the value and comfort. You have a Grand week and I look forward to next Wednesday.

Hi Marc! Thank you very much for the down to earth discussion with Jamie and Linda! It was great to get to know them better, as well as to learn what is behind their motives and plans. No doubt, it was fun to spend the time with them. I subscribed to their channel when you initially mentioned them during last weeks video. When I get some free time, I'll dive into their video library. Safe travels!

Thank you for your videos. Im a full time rver solo empty nester. I like your idea of paying cash for everything. Do you regret tying up that much cash to be debt free vs using cash for investment income?

As we couldn't pay cash for our RV or truck, I'll have to let RTR respond.
