Hi Lisa. Those steps you refer to are the diving boards of an outside swimming pool. I spent many a day in my childhood over there and my brother used to dive off of the top board. Everyone used to watch in horror due to the height. It was filled in by a garden centre that took it over. Still live on the edge of Croydon closer to London. Oh boy the memories. Carmen x

You just reminded me of something, there is a place on a cliff where they do the Pirates Of Penzance in the open air. I caught it by accident just once and the highlight was the pirates coming onto the stage area from the cliffs behind, it looked really good.
