Amazes me how some people even get a decent stake on a horse or dog these days, if you win anything decent ''online'' and I'm talking even something like 3 or 4k it's inevitable your account will be restricted down to pennies and thus not worth any bet. Bookmakers these days are not bookmakers, they are Casinos and they will rarely restrict you should you decide to play roulette etc, that's how much they expect to lose. Sick of all these sexy adverts all promoting glamour but if you bag a few horse wins they will shut you down in the blink of an eye.

It’s a business what would you do let certain people keep winning. It’s a mugs game. Just keep getting people to open accounts for you and give them a small commission if you are that good. Being a bookie is like being a heroin dealer you don’t want ya punters getting clean ( winning often) you want them to stay addicted ( losing often) Ideally if you could control yourself you would stay away from punting. It’s really a nasty business when you think about it it’s winners and losers not win win. Societies have tried to restrict it but like a serial killer or rapist who needs his next kill or rape their is a small percentage of the population who will have the big. To me being involved in it means you are inherently morally failing. Really do want your kids growing up like a punter hanging around nefarious characters , tabs . It’s not right really but we are talking real world so it will always exist. Being dragged around tracks since I was 5 I have come to realise if your honest the people in the race scene remind me of junkies they would sell their grandmothers to have a punt
