Brilliant mate. Love your channel..I too have played poker with Tony, in fact I found myself on a final table with him in 2010 in a aussie millions championship event in Melbourne which I actually won. Nice guy. It's the 200% rule. Old as the hills, if you can write a market your there. Every time odds on offer are double the odds of your market you bet and the bigger the odds the more you bet. He is not the only man in the world to make millions of this, it's common practice but kudos for making a business out of it.

I have gambled for 50 years, a family member had a pitch on the rails at racecourses . I can tell you now horseracing is bent, and you never know the real chance of a horse because they mess about with them.also different going different result.Thats the reason in the long run you cannot win.Trading is a different matter, all i know is traders stake a lot of money to get just a small profit. If you consider the 40 percent commision charge on Betfair , then a trader has to stake big amounts of money to make a small profit.I was trading 500 pound stakes and i wasl ucky to getr a twenty pound profit on each race.If your paying 40 percent commision on that its not worth a toss.If people do make money out of it fine , i just teeling my personal experience.

Hey! A long time followers name I recognise there... I think that's a false positive from the start there, I've met many bookies who have been around (not quite 50 years) that can't understand why you would hedge on the exchange to level their book and mitigate risk. Just because someone's been a bookie or betting a long time doesn't mean it's the right thing. Trading and punting do have strong similarities although trading has hedges against short-term variance and different levels of commission. Ultimately, they are playing the same thing - the market, people, probability. Premium Charge is a pain yes, but so is getting thrown out of casinos for card counting, people still do it and just have to find ways around it.

NGL it looks StarLizard looks a great place to work, but how does a person even get started as an analyst for a betting firm... presumably there are a very limited number of golden tickets about for 21 year old maths (or related) grads to learn from the bottom, but isn't a big enough world to be late to the party? I'm always amazed how pro-gamblers continue to get the value prices at what (particularly in this case) is humungous odds, when most bookies in this country won't even let me have £1 on a bet because my P&L maybe sneaks into 4-figures (or scraping over £100 in the case of Betway). I appreciate that globally there may be companies less sophisticated in identifying where people are taking value, but on a very basic level surely every decent size bookmaker in the world can see where a punters P&L is steadily trending upwards and will seek to start clamping down on them. PS as a gambling nerd this is another quality video, thanks for the content.
