Oh my goodness, I loved to see all of your shawls and other projects ❤. Your work is beautiful. It makes me happy that you knit so many gifts for other people. The baby is so adorable 🥰🥰🥰 I think we should all knit with what we can afford and not be embarrassed. Some cheaper yarns that are made with acrylic are great for baby and children items because they can be washed easier! ❤ I will watch your next podcast to see what others say too! 🥰🥰🥰

Thank you so much Catherine for “visiting me” and taking the time to write 🥰 That makes me so glad! And you’re so right that we must knit with what we can afford, it should be something for everyone 💕 Hugs! Lotte

Oliver's sweater looks wonderful! I think we (in US) would call the "trumpet" sleeves "bell" sleeves. Thanks for sharing your shawls with us!

Hi Lotte! Thank you for showing all your shawls and cowls. They are so beautiful and these ponchos are so cute 🫶🥰 what a great idea! I also made a hanselhap 🤩. I think nobody should feel ashamed to use and show acrylic yarns. I like more wool and natural fibers, but this is only my preference. Everybody should work with yarn of their choice. I often use sale opportunities like remaining stock or more affordable yarns.

Hi Lotte! I enjoyed seeing all your beautiful shawls & cowls! I also enjoy knitting shawls but don’t wear them very often. I’m currently working on the border of my Fiber Fest Shawl by Stephen West and will be happy to finish it as I find brioche quite challenging. Regarding your question about making with acrylic yarns; I use it when I’m making things for my grandchildren because it’s more practical for laundering. I prefer to knit with wool, as I appreciate its warmth and other properties. I make because I enjoy the creative process and gift many of my finished items to family and friends. Like many others, I cannot afford to purchase a lot hand-dyed yarn...so I look for more affordable commercial brands and try to buy during sales whenever possible. Whether we have little or much, no one should be looked down upon because of their financial status. Looking forward to your next episode 😊
