I love the colors in the cardigan you are knitting! I look forward to seeing you for the Knit-a-thon (Live, if I am awake at that time 😉). Regarding the topic of yarn costs, etc: Like any hobby, you have to work within your budget, and that can be limiting for many of us, no matter what the hobby is. Look for places that may have yarn donations (libraries, yarn shops, etc) if you must have yarn and cannot afford it. We must also remember that with social media, what we are shown is based on a selection of algorithms, which is only a small subset of all the (yarn) hobbyists in the world; we don't get the "full" story. In any case, whether there are yarn snobs or not, work with what you can afford, with what makes your hobby accessible. Knit (or crochet, etc) wherever you are able (in public or not), and don't worry about what other people think, you can't control that. I hope that the hobby anyone undertakes (whatever it may be) brings them joy.

Thank you so much Jessica for your wise words!!!! (And I hope you are awake so we can “meet again”😅, but you must have as much energy you need to be a part of the Knitathon as much as you can😄)
