Welds are not complete at all...tacked to keep in place and then welded to a procedure after... maybe you should wait amd watch

I love this channel ❤️ But I can't honestly say I believe this challenge isn't a bit of a sham. When you consider 11.7 ton of carbon emissions per 1 ton of aluminum. Plus mining plus the unbelievable amount of energy used to cut and weld all that aluminum together . You'll have to sail fuel free for 50 years non stop to cancel out the carbon foot print of just the hull build . Not to mention the foot print of the people driving to work every day to build it and then the finishing crew and a ll the resources that need to be mined and processed to finish it up. Don't get me wrong . I'm no Gretna thumb turd. I'm loving this build series and all plucky adventures. I just don't believe you can say this event is fossil fuel free .. not even frickin close.

I like the couple. They seem like they might be great crew. Two month commitment seems huge. They have excitement. Language differences might be a little concern. It’s hard enough to hear the word “Aluminum”. LOL But in Russian or other languages there could be misunderstandings? Even culture.
