Such a great chat! Wish it was longer. It was a pleasure to introduce you to our community David when you were the Australia Day Ambassador for Cohuna (twice!) So inspiring and a great story teller. Thanks Sam for the interview.

Yes a tear for many reasons and Sam you really have to have David on again as you have only touched on this true gentleman’s story and who has contributed so much to Australia. Spending time with David on the Support Act Committee and watching his involvement with the emergency services and other organisations I can honestly say he is The Mann about town. I am often asked if I had an afternoon to listen to someone tell stories of our past who would that be?The answer was Molly Meldrum or David Mann and I am sure David has invited you and Sue to dinner at his so accept and enjoy but perhaps let Sue drive ha ha. Thanks again and last night at the 84th birthday of another Victorian legend whose book comes out soon so hopefully you will have him on for some more interesting stories of our past. Cheers John.

I had to check on the story of the attachment of a fifth engine, which is attached to, say, a 747, to transport a new engine to Australia. 100% true. I know a RAAF Squadron Leader who is an aircraft engineer at Williamstown. I asked him and he confirmed this is the way they do it and is still done to this day.

I remember when Tony Charlton on live tv rang the wrong Mrs Allan Rudkin on the morning of the Rose v Rudkin fight in Melbourne the look on his face when he realised priceless he was a star

I’m not sure how I could make a suggestion via email or more less “public” so please excuse the comments public exposure. I really like that you have placed your podcasts on KZbin, for me thats a great option. Love the topics and guests etc., Just an unqualified suggestion: would it be possible to release the videos over days as opposed to hours? Its a bit of an overload and I find Im clicking off earlier than maybe I should. If the videos were posted over a week - at a rate of say 1 every second day - it would then become something I would be looking forward to with great expectation. But I understand your 1st preference is the actual podcast and not youtube. For me its the reverse. Its similar to your KZbin with Suzanne (OBE)……I love the random posts. I hope I dont sound like a rambling idiot, but I do wish you every success.

Thanks for the feedback. It would make life easier for Sue to do that. I will consider your suggestion 🙏🏻
