Hot take: I have a college degree but I don't think most college degrees are worth it anymore, including my own. If you want to start a parkour gym, you're better off finding a mentor and learning by doing. Even most biz degrees won't teach you much that's useful for small biz or entrepreneurship.

@@katiethompson5607 yes, take charge of your own learning. there's no college program out there that preps you to open a parkour gym. you can learn all you need from mentors, books, seminars, certifications, free content online, and just jumping in / doing it.

How do you find a gym like this? A place with all the equipment.???? Please reply. I live in north Alabama. Can't seem to find anything close. And I'm not sure if the gymnastic gyms would even have what I need. I will be checking them out though.

Finding funding for a parkour gym is the same answer as finding funding for any small business. It's also not as hard as finding the right people or developing the curriculum, systems, etc. As for insurance, it's constantly changing but also not that hard. Plenty of options.

Google it. ;) There aren't that many Parkour gyms in the country so chances are there isn't one near you.
