Love Sterling calling out their intention to largely avoid talking about the child actors for their space and safety. That protective instinct and the acknowledgement of the different pressures on childen in the public eye speaks volumes.

One of the BEST quotes of the episode; Annie: "My vice is asthma, his is cocaine" LMAO Absolutely LOVE how Chris & Sterling seem to enjoy making Mandy uncomfortable but I get it, it's awesome! Ms. Moore is a brilliant actress! Go ahead guys, this'll be great. Ah, Tobey & 'show business', what a classy guy & Kate is right, the hat is everything. Okay, I'm just gonna say it, Beth & Randall werre my favorite characters right the very start!! Love you all!

Must agree, this series made me reflect and be more empathetic to my parents and family members rather than being judgmental on their life choices. The situation of Jack’s parents and brother were one of the most impactful part for me. Sometimes we forget our family had a life prior to our existence.

I was so enthralled with this show - every week, it just grabbed on to my heart and emotions and held it way past the credits. It is a joy to listen to these three talk about the various scenes and make me look forward to watching the series all over again. I can't do it weekly like I originally did, because I know it drags my emotions through the wringer so know I'd better survive the emotional distress by binge watching. Let me buy more tissues first!

I don’t know if this comment section can handle my unpopular opinions about Miguel 😂 but here I go: SPOILERS 🚨 1. His positive effect on Rebecca’s life was extremely underrated. He was a rock to her as a friend and as a partner and put her always first. 2. Even when I was shocked by that ending revelation on the 2nd episode I think they had already given us enough information to trust Rebecca on her decision. 3. I wish we would’ve had the chance to see even more of his funny side. One of my favorite parts of the show are when Miguel, Beth and Toby can’t handle the Pearsons intensity levels. (Maybe I’m wrong but I think they mention they had their own chat group??) still he is so loyal and respectful to Jack’s memory 4. His story doesn’t get the attention it deserves… one Miguel episode was waaaaayyy too little for me. This is the man who not only grew older with Rebecca but the one who cared for her until the literal last moment of his life.😫 5. Last but not least, when I tell you that I was waiting for those last minutes on that train to play out differently…. 🚂 i’m not joking. Yes Jack was the love of part of her life, the father of her kids, but those last years… i don’t know. .. I know it sounds unrealistic of me, but he was so deserving of spending eternity with her … they don’t even talk on the train… 😭 But I also think he did share the best moments of their life, decided to stick together, helped each other move on, were great companions, supported each other. Maybe that’s the role they were supposed to play in each other’s lives, I don’t know… Do I sound crazy???😅

I am loving this podcast so much. If you all are taking requests for special episodes or topics, may I humbly suggest a collaboration with actor Justin Baldoni (of Jane the Virgin) and his "Man Enough" podcast. One of the things I absolutely loved about This Is Us is how it showed men learning how to live positive versions of masculinity--and I think that speaks to a lot of men (and women!) who are navigating changing times and a national conversation about "toxic" masculinity. It seems like the actors of this show are really living out these lessons in their real lives as well (can you imagine talking about therapy and disregulation publicly even ten years ago?).

I am loving this podcast such much; it's so awesome to hear you guys reflect on the show and how much it affected you as actors! You talked about the scene with Rebecca and young Kate around food and how much times have changed in our understanding of nutrition over the decades. I was a premature baby at birth, 2 pounds 10 oz in 1953 , and the one thing they fed me was Karo Syrup and water to get me to thrive so my Mom could take me home from the hospital. I was in a special unit for preemies for three months until I gained enough closer to my actual due date to be able to go home. Your discussion around the Karo Syrup made me think of this. I love you all and I miss the show so much!
