I like listening to Watenge, but this interview has proven that the police training and syllabus has to be overhauled and thrown in the dustbin. Kenya police is the most backward institution in the country.

Mwaf, I have repeatedly listened to this individual on your podcast and other platforms, and I am beginning to seriously question his credibility. If these are the individuals representing our intelligence service, then our nation is indeed in peril. His interpretation of the constitution, particularly regarding the right to picket, is fundamentally flawed. There is a clear distinction between lawful picketing and unlawful rioting, which he seems to misunderstand. Furthermore, the so-called "fake swearing-in" of Raila Odinga did not constitute treason, as it did not adhere to the constitutional requirement of being officiated by a judge. Please, Mwaf, if you must invite this guest again, I urge you to introduce him as a police historian rather than as an authority on intelligence or constitutional manenos

This guy has some security training but at low levels and was trained long time ago. He seems to have more of general knowledge and some basic police training. Not intelligence. Note NIS came into being in 1996 and SB was disbanded and most of the officers didn't join NIS
