Great video man, 82nd Vet here. I was actually in Kabul for the withdrawal, and at abbey gate during the attack and multiple other “small incidents”. Have the pictures and videos to prove it all actually. We did the best we could with zero direction and numbers not in our favor with the amount of different factions coming in with their own rules and grudges. Not to mention the horrors that were witnessed. Would have been nice to have some more bodies and a plan no doubt. if you guys ever need more info I’ll be happy to help

Not mention I deployed under Trump as well and the difference was unbelievable.

I'm with you Nate. I lost friends and team members in Kandahar. May 2010, my buddy died during a suicide car bombing. He was an escort for 6 colonels that wanted boots on ground to say they were in combat. They were killed as well. Several of us were alerted, so we geared up and hauled ass to his location. Somehow, his mission to pick up these colonels and escort them back was leaked. As far as I know, there was nobody but our troops heading this up in the JSOC. As we arrive and pulled security. I watched my buddy burn in the suburban he was sent in. Other friends involved in the escort took shrapnel and glass. They miraculously survived. I wanted to get in that truck and pull my friend out. But when the pullout of Afghanistan happened, in the worst fucking way possible. We had afghans and their families that helped in almost every mission in some capacity. The promises made, the relationships and work that we had done were destroyed. It makes me feel as if my service was for nothing. And almost ashamed to say I was a soldier, because of what this administration pulled. We all lost friends and saw shit nobody should ever see. It's as if they died for nothing. I love my brothers and hope one day I will see them again. But it was for nothing. For what they (the administration) did.

I was in IT/computers for ten years and I would like to know if in communications , did you get any CompTIA certifications? This meaning A+,N+ Security+ or a CISCO qualification such as CCNA? I did HSE/ safety inspections in Bagram Afghanistan but couldn't get into the IT division, thats why I Ask.

Just found this interview, I’m glad to hear Nate describe the Afghanistan pullout accurately My enlisted USMC cousin had his last deployment as staff on the withdraw (so I KNOW the timetable got arbitrarily fucked)… …his first deployment was as a combat engineer in Fallujah If America was just, he’d get a fucking ticker tape parade every day for the rest of his life

Being in a mil PAO, (as a civilian now for Oregon) I wholeheartedly agree there are some dumb-shit PAOs in regards to their social media...it is amazing how some things never get vetted and then get released. It's quite mind-boggling.
