I’d be interested to see how the Mileseey T-Recon Tactical TNV30 compares to this lineup. Very similar specs and currently at a lower price point.

With prices dropping industry where we do not believe gambling on no name Chinese off brands is a wise investment and we try to steer clear until a company has proven themselves with quality, service, reliability and longevity. No sir we have used and tested the K3 and do not believe it offered an image and build quality that we could recommend to our customers. We love Rix but we cherry pick the lineup of every manufacturer we deal with and only sell the optics we feel meet our standards. Thanks for watching

I’m just wondering why ATN is not in the conversation? I have no firsthand knowledge on them (or any thermal optics), but I see them advertised a lot.

We were ATN dealers years ago but stopped selling them about 8-9 years ago due to horrible reliability, terrible customer service and unethical business practices. You will not find any reputable thermal dealer selling ATN. You will only find them in big box/online stores that just sell “stuff” and don’t care about quality. All the ads you see are ATN selling directly to consumers because reputable dealers have dropped them. Stick to AGM, Pulsar, Infiray Outdoor and RIX and you’ll do well. But also remember that not every optic is a good value just because it’s made by a good thermal manufacturer. You really need to know what you’re buying before spending your money. Give us a call, we’d be glad to help and would love to have your business.

@ Thank you so much for the reply! You guys will be my first call when I’m ready (hoping for after the Holidays). I’m recovering from spinal cancer and while I was in treatment in Boston, tweakers tossed my cabin in the Berkshires and made off with my old, but trusty PVS-7. Thankfully but sadly, they didn’t get far with it. The local police found it crunched on the road a mile or so from my place. So, I’m starting over and want to add thermal to my kit. I’ve really enjoyed watching your breakdowns on gear and appreciate that you make room for people like me, who may be on a budget, but still want quality. It’s both sad to read and good to know about ATN. Will absolutely be talking to you soon. Merry Christmas!

Yes, they changed the name from Seeker to Taipan V2 due to a copyright claim. They are the exact same unit with a new box!
