I have been retired now for 11 years, so I knit all day long. I am blessed, my husband is a trained chef, so I don’t cook. Just laundry and housekeeping and then I spend all the rest of my day and evening just knitting. It is so wonderful to be able to sit and knit and not have any other real demands on my time. I love you mother and daughter dynamic, so wonderful to see your interaction, your friendship, what a real blessing for both of you.

I’m so jealous! In the best sort of “happy for you” way 😂 I’m in the weeds with small kiddos and many demands on my time. I know I’ll miss it when they’re grown, but at least I’ll have the knitting time to compensate!

Diana, the cardigan you made for Kaity is beautiful! I love the details. And I agree that the purple color is great for the Andrea Mowry sweater. I actually like the Strange Brew too, but when I saw that the red had some purple in it, the purple just seemed right. I do really like the red and beige together. Kaity, I will be praying for a safe and easy delivery - it won’t be long now.

I love seeing your knitting, but I enjoy your chatting just as much! For the Framed I would add some rows of your potential contrast colors to each side of your already done swatch so you can see exactly what your sweater would look like and that might help you choose which one. Your swatch is beautiful!

Another wonderful podcast, ladies!! I love your Salty Air Tee, Diana. I have La Bien Aimee yarn for that pattern that I got at Flock last year. Kaity, I'm so happy you love JEMS Luxe Yarn. That color is beautiful. I am also a fan of Fiber Optics yarn--and I can't believe your husband bought you that gorgeous yarn! He's a keeper!! Diana, your Tolsta Tee!!! I have yarn for that one, too!! I always seem to struggle with armhole depth. ??? As for your Framed, Diana, I like the yellow/green for the framed edges, but that's just my opinion. Katy, your LYS sweater is beautiful! Keep on going! Diana, I love the colours you’ve picked for your Framed sweater. I’m partial to the purple for the frame, but I think either would work. I also think a two colour option would be nice if you have enough yarn (a couple of the test knitters did that). Just to further confuse the matter 😂.

I always look forward to your videos. It's a moment of calm in my busy mom life. :) As for sizing for a top...I also sew garments, and when picking a size you always look at your upper bust measurements first, not the full bust, so it would make sense to go by that measurement for knitting also. You can always increase stitches as you go for the full bust if needed.

It was me that asked about how you found time to knit. I’m now nearly 80 so it’s a different world. But my third baby was ten days late and in that ‘extra’ time I made a super king bed quilt! I had little idea what I was doing, and I could barely reach the sewing machine over my stomach but where there’s a will there’s a way! Lovely podcast, thank you.

Fiber Optics is AMAZING!! They are north East of the City! Did you get the card about how to wind the yarn??? It has 1 tie - if you didn't you can look online or go to the store and have them wind the yarn

Hi Louann, hoping and praying your recovery is progressing and you are improving everyday. Kaity is the only daughter that knits. I have a daughter that crochets and one that needlepoints. I have a couple of granddaughters that are definitely showing interest in knitting. ❤
