So well explained Mam… In simple words it is called “shifting gears” which comes naturally to NTs but difficult for autistic… OT helps tremendously in this area which eventually improves in their overall learning… we need knowledgable therapists like you in India.

Hi Maam my son is also always very alert and very difficult to switch down . His auditory and visual sense are more alert that impacting his speech as he understand everything but when he want to process and event try to understand and convey he get stuck .sometime he very quite or very alert

An important concept 👍 Maam kindly suggest what should be the correct time and time interval between two sessions to give vestibule and mid line activity to an ASD child so that he can remain max possible time in the balanced state (as explained by you)

It depends on the age of the child, severity of the disorder and the challenges that are surfacing. I cannot guide and give a general answer because it is unique to each child.

Mam wonderful video... my son is not hyper but he is extremely distracted and touches others things. Sits properly in class but retention is not there and doesn’t listen much . If someone says something in school he yells saying no. When teachers say same eeaction butvthen obeys them in a while.. he does many yoga exercises in morning to cam down. Please guide what should i do to make him more receptive in class and also doesnt forget class rules. Also what shoud be done before starting studying at home so that the ventral mode is on n he can learn effectively.

Hello Maam....meri beti diagnosis nahi h 2.6 ki hai....she is speaking in sentences...constipation nahi hai....awaj se nahi darti hai...chidati h humko bahot....masti karti h...sabko pahchanti hai...eye contact hai...but school mein saare baby ko hug karna and push karna...baki bacche asa nahi karte but vo karti h.. Sabko baby ko jaa k pakad k hug karegi...ye ek uska problem h baccho ko dekh k bhagna unki taraf...mai kya kar sakti hu please help

The jumps..working on proprecption with rings .He needs a constant tactile seeking so I give him Atta dough..he like to create things with it......and a lot as and when in home environment.....we recentlystarted with imitationskills with the therapistas his compliance has improved.
