Excellent videos from NB. I grew up close to Kouchibouguac but moved out west many years ago. Nice to see it again 👍🏻

Nice looking campground. The kayaking looked great! I was wondering if you were going to get caught when the tide changed! 😁 Nice to have your son with you. Neat little “drydock” for the kayak. Ram 👍🏼👍🏾

Those kayak slips are the bee's knees. I've always hated launching from and landing back on a dock, but those things make it painless.

Excellent overview of Kouchi. We have stayed there many times, and always loved it. Great bike trails. Excellent kayaking opportunities, but you do have to be darn careful as conditions there can change in a flash. Both campgrounds are superb by any measure. Most of our stays have been at the South campground, but our favorite sites in the park are at Cote a Fabien. Looking forward to your PEI adventures and beyond. Take care Marc, and continued safe travels.....

Thanks Shawn! We ran out of time to get across the river to Cote a Fabien to check it out. As it was, it was a challenge to squeeze as much as we did into two days and three nights. We'll have a gem of a campground to share with you in next week's PEI episode.

I can hardly believe we are already half way through summer, Marc. 🥵 Gord

@@GrandAdventure You've been very busy, Marc. Time really flies when your busy. Hopefully you'll get a stop over before the end of the summer... just to relax for a week and smell the roses as they linger... stretching the moments out for reflection. It's sometimes hard to do this if your used to being busy. Busy means time is at a premium. But the difference is either a 'human being' or a 'human doing'. Finding the time just to be and lingering there... watching the grass grow. Things really slow down at that point. Relishing in the moments passing by, rather than pushing forward continually. I know you take time out but not as frequently as you might like. But what can you do... too much is expected all the time. Gord

@@gorrdd I'm really bad at just sitting still for, oh, more than 20 minutes or so. LOL But it would be nice to find something between that, and burning the candle at both ends.

LOVE! the addition of the Michael-kayak-cam viewpoint! And the back-splash of his paddle was priceless! Well done! And the area…. I could spend a week there just paddling and biking. Beautiful area, Marc. They need a Buc-ees over there. It's very Canadian, aye!. Beavers are like first nation citizens in Canada... hard working and very industrious. Never buck a beaver... 😂 Loved the beaches. You never see anything quite like that along most of the Atlantic Coast. Kennebunk, Maine, being one of the very few exceptions. Does your son, Michael, live close by in Canada? Very nice you all could get together for a couple of weeks. Gord

Every place needs a Buc-ees, Gord! Michael lives in Montreal, so this season's swing through eastern Canada was perfect to have him join us for 3 or 4 weeks.

Another great episode as always. We enjoy your presentations however - I hate to complain but your breaks to music is a loud - audio. Much louder & unbearable volume than when you are speaking. My editing program has a volume control for these breaks - I assume yours does also. It would make the viewing of your episodes much more enjoyable.
@GrandAdventure5 ай бұрын
Thanks for the feedback, Randy. It's a tough balance to achieve, and we have struggled with that for years. What often happens is that when KZbin processes the uploaded video, it makes unpredictable changes to the relative volume levels.
