You’re beautiful and a beacon of light for many. Seeing a gen x woman reflect on her life and times as a child and an adult woman is just so beautiful and authentic. I was brought to tears- so many women in your generation hold onto hurt and pain and lie about their reality that it causes them to project and be so harmful and never look into their subconscious mind. It’s also refreshing to see a woman of your age not centering a man or job but yourself and your needs and your inner child. I’m 27 working on my mother wound day by day by sowing seeds of love with my life partner, dogs, and the beautiful young people I work with I pray to make it to 50 and to look as beautiful as you and be real and live in my truth. In September, he blocked me and ALL the feelings of rejection, im disposable, I don’t exist came flooding in. I have so much evidence from my childhood. I am her prize/property. It is so painful even more so at 52. Literally been looking for someone to say I see you. You are teaching me to acknowledge her for me. I gotta go alone so I develop my autonomy. Happy 50th birthday 🎉gorgeous lady. I’m hearing you and I’m loving your podcast as I discovered my mother was not I thought they really were when I turned 50 some 2 years ago! They reacted disgustingly towards my relationship choice and then I was ostracised by her and my 2 siblings 🤷🏽‍♀️ After I decided to make some boundaries in order to protect myself, I was able to talk to them again. The relationship is not the same and will never be… but we move 🙏🏾🙏🏾 I forgave them so that I could start my healing process. I’m still healing and growing. You got this girl 🙌🏾

You have helped me so much that I moved out of her house (when you said you are retraumatizing yourself by staying there with her, it clicked). I now live in a lovely neighborhood; it's a bachelor with my 2 kids, but oh my God, what peace to own my own entrance, a door I can control who enters through!! Just a song my mom to sing to me all the time… first thing that came to mind mind when you said you wanted me to come with you. I’m with you forever my path is so unclear. I don’t have a long lost dream or a business I want to start or anything that is definitive except Being loved. And I’m doing that best as I can and much better than before. And I do want my life to change and it is but I’m not sure how ir what needs to be done to catapult me to the next level. Cause as far back as I can remember I just wanted to be loved and accepted no other aspirations even mattered.
