DJ Good video thanks for posting. Glad you back at it. On that reinforcement plate on the bottom fuselage, did you put that there due failures with fuselage? Is there a cad file for it you'd share or handmade? Might wish to do the same mod.

I added that piece as part of some other reinforcements in that area. I wasn’t satisfied with how lightly constructed the area is. I drew a CAD file for it and had it waterjet cut. I’ll post the file up on my website, outbound300.com tonight.

@@Outbound300 Awesome, thanks so much! I'll have one made and use it. I will have to drill out some rivets but that's okay. I was also planning to add in some diagonals on the side skin that area too, and need to do this work before I paint the fuselage.

@@Outbound300 DJ I can't find that file there for some reason or another. I found the good pulley design you did, those are cool too and I had downloaded those earlier. Is there a download area that possibly I'm missing? Thanks! Ron

my apologies! I hadn't got to it until just now. I put a link on the tailcone part 2 blog page: outbound300.com/the-build/f/tailcone-part-2

Because of the RANS tailwheel leaf spring: Could you have reversed the installation direction? It looks like the bend is flatter at the other end. May be RANS made mistakes by assembling...

The hole sizes and shape of the spring is different at each end. Would not be possible to flip it around.
