I still can't get over how Mr. Colby's Uncle not only shook Sinatra's hand, but he worked for him as one of his assistants back in the day! Wow! Then to hear him tell his own stories about how he got involved in playing guitar & learning to repair gear because of that with his Father. Such a wonderful man with such a wonderful history of his own. Thank you for this. Really puts a smile on my face.

Another great, great show. Wow. As I’ve said before, I truly believe we will look back in years to come and find these as priceless time capsules of history. What a great service and treat. Thank you Marc and Dave, and all the guests that take time to tell the stories and answer the questions. Can’t say enough for how important this is. Kudos, guys.

"Jimmy trusted Perry so it worked out... for me at least". The fact is that this worked out for all of us guitar players. We finally will know, for certain, the details about this amp. This amp has been a mystery for years. While the 50 hand wired units are all sold, it is good news there may be a more mass produced version that will become available. Eventually the circuit details will come out and maybe us home amp builders can make one too. Thanks Mitch, thanks Perry, and... Thank You Jimmy Page!

Hi Marc and Dave ,, could you talk Mitch into doing his Sundragon pre-amp for the SYNERGY >turn it into a Module ...Hi Might do,, all the brand like too , Right ? Hi told on the one volume its clean gives 8 watt and use the second volume its goes up (for the rest) to 20 watt starts a drive(gain) sound so at low volume already dirty (maybe it totally an power amp boost gain-drive dist ?)

Sorry Dave, restoring Eddie Van Halen' number 1 Marshall is not equal to restoring Jimmy Page's guitar amp from Led Zeppelin 1.
@tone-talk4 жыл бұрын
Sorry Jupiter but that’s your opinion. Van Halen 1s first album is the tone everyone talks about and that amp is the tone. Your opinion isn’t a fact either but thanks for watching :)
@jupitermoongauge40554 жыл бұрын
@@tone-talk led Zeppelin 1 is a way more historically important and artistically realised album, any way you cut it, than anything Van Halen could have ever dreamt of putting out, and Jimmy Page is an infinitely more creative musician, composer , arranger, song writer than Eddie Van Halen. Sorry guys, but those are facts. If you want to pretend otherwise, that's up to you I guess. In years to come people with credit Page as being the only guitarist in rock who approached having the musicianship, creativity and artistic vision of Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen will be known merely as a novel technician, whose musicality is of little note. Your opinions are only opinions too. Having said all that, I love your show, you guys are awesome, knowledgeable and entertaining, so thanks, and I hope you don't mind too much that someone has a differing point of view on certain subjects
