Nice video and cool update from the dev. I can’t play for a couple weeks due to vacation but looking forward to checking this out. Also it used to be that you couldn’t bring the whole toolbox into the junkyard, but you could always carry in one tool or however many you could fit into your bag.

Definitely do some odd jobs or rust and repaint because you don't really have the cash right now to do a full repair. Very interesting and informative episode though. I just got home from work a bit ago and watched this before I started playing. I was a little surprised to see that your Niv's engine has 125 HP with the performance parts on it, I was expecting a bit more. Mine has the inline 6 with performance carb and plugs (can't seem to get the air filter to attach) and it runs at 121 HP. Maybe the dyno will report something different. Also, with the increased sell price for 5 star cars I'm incentivized to get off my butt and do some full rebuilds. Maybe drop a supercharged v8 into a Lad coupe and see if I can survive the drive to the service center. I might also put 17" wheels and a lift kit on my Niv, but I worry that it might not do so well hauling the car trailer around. Also, congrats on the couch. Should have left it there though so you could take a nap in the dyno testing area.

I should have probably zoomed in on the Dyno Screen, but the NiV did hit 225hp. It really does incentivize to do a full rebuild doesn’t it? I didn’t even think about an accident happening with hauling it over with the trailer 😂 But without a taxi option 🤞🏽 Yeah them V8’s can be squirrelly. And I didn’t even think about keeping the couch there to sleep on. Great idea!

@@QuadThumbs I did mean 225 and 221 HP, but fatigue from work and Ouzo from the corner store were influencing my accuracy. The Ouzo won out though.

Personally, I'd also go with the full repair. Let's see how it works. Also, agreed about the paint booth. It looks good and is a useful mod, but it costs about ten times the amount when using the paint cans. Also, while I understand that the dec probably doesn't want a My Summer Car copy-paste, I would prefer a bit more of the survival aspects of that game to be adapted. Like there is no bed in the house, when there's rain or snow, it's all inside the house. Also, since there's such a huge food variety in the town store, a cooking/baking mechanic would be cool, and also a functioning fridge and tap to quench thirst. Maybe even include a cleanliness/stress/bladder option, but that's just my opinion.

Yeah I can agree with that. A proper survival. I haven’t even turned hunger and that on as it didn’t seem really done right.
