Always breathtaking, our Connie in action. It takes a lot of work for our volunteer engineers, pilots and crew to keep the world's only flying Lockheed Super Constellation in the air. And what a busy day at Shellharbour Regional Airport with our Dakota (DC3/C47) and Caribou
scooting around as Connie went through its annual inspection with a rigorous hour-long training flight.
Not just one, but two take-offs and landings and a spectacular pass over our world-renowned museum. She is a true living icon of world aviation.

I would give almost anything to get in the F/E's seat again. Almost 19 years as a F/E in the US Navy. It was a great career.
