We've been really keen to show you what it's like to fly in our replica of Australia's pioneering trans-pacific aviator Charles Kingsford Smith's three engine Fokker, the Southern Cross, since its first flight in over 20 years last December. The majestic aircraft's been busy training up new pilots to keep her more up in the air and today we finally got a ride on her longest run yet out of Shellharbour Regional Airport, home of the HARS Aviation Museum, and over neighbouring Wollongong and Port Kembla. And what a nostalgic trip back into those early days of passenger aviation.
