EP-4|Spiti| Sichling to Dhankar Monastery| Meet the Little Lama|A retired Father & Son traveling!

Ep-4 of the Spiti road trip with my family and friends continues! After the camping experience in Sichling village under the glittering sky, we moved towards the unique village Dhankar. Dhankar Monastery is an old place for the study of Buddhism. I meet a little Lama practicing at the monastery. Meeting with the Bansal Family from Rajasthan doubled our energy that day. The retired father and son duo was traveling to Spiti from Rajasthan!

Done something out of the box for the very first time,... Campaign in middle of nowhere within the mountains with the sound of river babbels and sky with the shinning stars⭐⭐ what a mesmerizing night it was.. ( unforgettable) And the next morning in Dhankar monestry with the drone view of spiti river along with cold morning breeze felt so peaceful.. ❤Spiti valley.. ❤

Thank you for describing your well thought feelings for the amazing and exciting road trip to the Spiti valley.It was something out of the box for sure with camping beside the Spiti river in Sichling village, I distinctly hear the sound of the river till date. Dhankar is historically very important for many and the authentic structure of the Gumpha with the Monks there do create something incredible for the visitors!

This was something out of this world experience ❤❤ the monastery was so calm and peaceful really for a minute it felt like i have achieved nirvana 😘❤

Can't agree with you more 🙏 Also the history associated with the monastery is amazing! This Gumpha used to play a critical role that time for the local Tibetan community.And the Bansal father and son made our day special!!
