I had all the Col'n Carpenter eps on VHS, sadly they disappeared over the years. The "diary" - some classic dialogue there, can't wait to see that again! I liked "dusty daffodils" as well (every episode of Col'n Carpenter was a classic!), but I think that one was in the second series when Mrs Fuller was around.

Stig Wemyss Fantastic, can't wait! :) I still have quite a few episodes on VHS somewhere but sadly I don't have a video player. I also saw you mentioned previously about releasing them on DVD. Do you have any updates on that? :)

Unfortunately no news on the DVD. Long story but the rights are tied up with channel Ten and it's difficult to even find the right person to speak to about realising them. Still burrowing away though. X

Stig Wemyss Thanks for trying :) Seems crazy to sit on a comedy goldmine and to not repeat them on tv at the very least. Maybe we should all contact channel ten and stomp our feet a bit. I'll also attempt to recover the ones I have stored away, I've got a fair few but want them all dammit :) Hopefully the tape hasn't worn because I did watch them a lot! :)

michael finds julia writing a diary. then col'n starts writing one 2. michael later reads julia's diary & is saddened that he's not mentioned at all. he decides 2 leave, but col'n tells him that julia just wrote a new enter, saying how sad she is that michael is gone. michael's is touched & decides 2 stay. it turns out col'n was lying & julia never wrote it, but she's glad he convinced michael 2 stay
