Now is the time to consider 2 changes: 1) sit in the plane and see if the control stick is where you want it. For me, it was fine where my hand rested but not good for max up elevator. Had to bring my elbow way back behind the seats for full elevator. 2) where the pivot bolt for the stick go through the torque tube, weld in a sleeve from 4130 steel to remove slip in the controls. There is now a sleeve included with the pivot bolt. I’ll check the stick once seats are back in. I’ve kept that in the back of my mind for a while since first seeing yours and your comments about it in your videos.

Adam what would you do different? Would you have the Coaters mask off the areas that will be fitted together?

Everything from the control stick back you could skip powder coating just paint. The control stick is the only thing showing. You could powder coat or paint that.

Adam. Steve from Anchorage. Are your door seals, top and bottom two different thicknesses?
@AeroworksProductions3 жыл бұрын
Haven't installed them yet but it looks like I only have 1 roll of door seal, all the same. I'll let you know when i get there. Working on that right now.

@@AeroworksProductions sorry I wasn’t clear the aluminum door sill not seal, sorry.

@@stevelemley9475 Yes they are different. Smaller on the top. Not sure why they didn't keep it all the same. Maybe a clearance issue or oversight.

Hi Adam. did you ever consider chrome plating or galvanizing for the metal parts?
@AeroworksProductions3 жыл бұрын
Not really besides powder coating and paint I sent my factory Matco wheels back to them and they anodized them black that’s the only other coating I’ve done.
