When I joined in 2007 there was no one in the recruiters office, why? Because at that time service members were getting blown up, shot, burned alive, drowning, and if they survived that then they had to battle an unsupportive culture and especially the VA. The suicide rate did not go down after 2001 - it more than doubled. There is a double standard that is celebrated but it is called equal opportunity. So even if you make it in and are a high-speed soldier you will get looked over for schools even if you are the best candidate. For example, the command I served with only supported soldiers with families and ignored single soldiers. Active duty is extremely time consuming along with being stressful to an unbelievable level. When you deploy and you leave your family if you have one then that hole that is left is filled by someone else. When you get back you have to reintegrate to your own family that has learned to live without you. Leading to affairs and a high percentage of divorce within our ranks. The lower enlisted are looked over for schools even though they may be the best candidate because of leadership helping themselves out and their buddies. One of the many reasons I waited to join til I was 21 was because I wanted to at least be able to legally buy a beer before I died for my country. My dad was SF and after I told him I was enlisting he told me, “as long as you know those targets shoot back.” Each branch of the military has its ups and downs. I chose the Army because of all the benefits it offered compared to the other branches. I asked my recruiter what MOS can be assigned anywhere in the Army and he responded with medic and mechanic Right now we are dealing with the same economic issues that we faced in 2008 that caused an influx of college graduates that were in college debt. They brought in the ideology from those schools that they attended which did not align with the mission at hand. For instance it was ok for a white female leader to sleep with her direct black subordinate and was supported by command. That same leader would discriminate and insult her Asian subordinate publicly. This was not only well known it was considered normal and supported by the command. These are real world issues that directly impacted negatively our lower enlisted. Playing favorites, lowering the standard and looking the other way are real world problems that caused us to lose overseas and back at home. When you look at the branches this is how I viewed each one: The Army - An extended camping trip The Navy - Was a long term cruise The Air Force - An extended flying trip The Marines - An extended beach trip The Coast Guard - An extended fishing trip Now my family has served in every conflict since the start of this country. The reason you can go see the Liberty Bell today is directly because of my 6th Great grandfather on my mom’s side. My grandfather on my dad’s side served the Navy and was directly responsible for rebuilding Japan’s economy. All of this is verifiable facts. When you join you never know where you go and what you will do but your legacy could change the world forever. Stay focused, stay strong, stay alert. “Justice from Above”

@@OnesReadyI am going to take that as a compliment brother. These young men, the next generation warriors, need to understand all of the challenges they will be facing on AND off the battlefield. And remember “experience is the best teacher.” They are way smarter than you may think. No one wants to join with an incompetent administration and I served under one. We just got rid of another. The world did not get any better for anyone because of them. The suicidal rate alone among the armed forces that has plagued us for two decades. That can be fixed, I proved that when I served and there is no reason that other veterans sit idly by and remain complacent. We all took an oath to this nation not a 9-5pm job. Be blessed brother and keep up the good work

I’ve met multiple people who were in the navy who were trying to join AFSW. They sat waiting on waivers for 18 months before they went to the Navy and got them quickly. These were 99 asvab stud athletes of good character. Air Forces loss.

32:45 🍑 peaches… good sir, you hit it right on the butt there🍑 my mother told me and I quote “You could NEVER be capable of passing their physical tests” fast forward two years and now I have a MEPS date despite my previous medical disqualification. That conversation in the car still resounds in my head and in some twisted way I’ve convinced myself she knew it would push me to do what was necessary to even have a chance to make it to BMT. Such a beautiful woman, inside and out I swear😭 Pops just started sharing boot camp stories with me, so there’s the contrast in parental support and how it looks lmao, I believe many of the parents who “disapprove” are trying to test how much will the child has behind the decision. I truly believe the parents want their kid to know they want that decision for themselves, like you say… otherwise it would be a sort of Peter Pan complex.

For the folks that cite, "woke DEI policies," Do you think the corporate civilian world will be better? I'm active now and can tell you that DEI takes up less than 1% of my time. It's not as big of a deal as you think it is, and for your first 4-6 years, you probably won't even notice any direct impact to you. Just my two cents.

When the military is focused and paying for transgender surgery and at the same time discriminating against white males especially Christian’s then you are flat out wrong. The battlefield is not the time to play politics. Why do you think our enemies do not employ the same policy? Did we win or lose in the Middle East? If you think it doesn’t matter then you are going to need to take a long hard look around you and ask those who are in charge where their loyalty lies indirectly.

ROLF -13:25 you meant to say a moral waiver which is about character. Morale is about feelings and attitude such a having a happy-happy joy-joy life/time or not.

@@OnesReady dope as in Marijuana or illicit steroid use ? If so it's a moral waiver. Never heard of anybody arrested for or having an adjudication for possession of Steroids .

Peaches, I'm in the process of joining on a SpecWar general contract. My medical waiver and drug use waivers have been taking about 10 months to get processed, still not done. I'm 35, have a 4 year old son, had a great business that raked in a healthy paycheck and I'm joining because I believe we need good MEN and WOMEN that love America in our military, so in a way I'm joining because of DEI. If DEI and all these woke policies weren't a big issue, you guys wouldn't be on egg shells when mentioning stupid policies trickling down from the previous admin. FJB by the way. America has had enough of the BS and people are starting to believe in the idea of a free nation under God once again. Thats why you will/are starting to see an influx of new recruits ready to fight for what they believe in. Btw, you should have seen how quickly the staff at the MEPS office took down the picture of yours truly "Commander and Chief Potato Head Joe" off that wall, completely changed the atmosphere in that building. I think we are heading into some turbulent and harsh times as part of the recovery process of a nation coming out of bondage, that's why "I have answered my nations call" speaks to me. Anyways, thanks for your videos, I really appreciate what the "Ones Ready Boys" bring in terms of educating and prepping new recruits for what's to come in the pipeline.

She was probably talking about that specific unit. ANG has much smaller quotas to fill and its per state rather than AF wide.

By the time I graduated college, I had 4 knee surgeries and needed ankle surgery from playing sports. If I learn about AFSOC opportunities in school I would have joined the AFROTC or enlisted. No way I would have lasted in the pipeline being so injury prone after I graduated.
