You've taught me straight up that with enough work, thought, and planning, high-end luxury interior design can be accomplished through DIY. I've already created aesthetically pleasing DIY interiors. Love the picture above the toilet. That Mirror is epic, and I love the sink. The price of sinks is surreal, so easy to make out of Concrete, such a versatile substance. When, (if) I get to doing out my own house, I'll have a heated mirror, so it never steams up, and a concrete bath tub with heating pipes in it, so the water never goes cold. It'll have massive pipes coming in, so it fills super quick, but they'll come in low down. Dunno why, just seems cool.

Man, the bathroom looks fantastic. And I really like that painting. I'm no art expert and I'm sure actual art experts would consider my tastes pedestrian, but I really like splatter art like that, plus it has the fade from black to white and the different values that stand out against it. I think it turned out great and it fits in the bathroom perfectly. I can't wait for the full building reveal.

I would recommend you looking into European/ German Style build in Toilets. The water compartment is built into the wall and is accessible through the button-lid. It also comes with a water saving function.

I like the Jackson Pollack painting, nice abstract touch. I was wondering who made it, looks like a nice added touch. I hope the wood below the mirror doesn't get in the way if you have person in a wheelchair. My wife is confined to one and has problems with mirror like this. Overall, is a great add, I do still miss the dual toilets. Could have played cards together.

Your painting over the toilet definitely deserves to be called art. It's easy to make a real mess of splattering but you nailed it. Your shower is epic. I think I could just about lay down in it, which is really saying something because as an adult I've never been able to even properly lay down in a bath 😆 The only thing I don't envy you is when it comes time to clean it :) I love all the patterns and finishes you choose, most of them remain within the monochrome palette which is my vibe. It's all very elegant and classic. Nice job as always.

The major benefit of cast iron sewer pipes is it's much more quiet than PVC, which is good since its hanging over head.

I would seriously recommend coating your new glass with a high quality automotive ceramic coating to help keep it spotless by preventing mineral etching and much easier to clean in the long run. Trust me you will be so glad you did!

A practical reason for using iron over PVC is that it is much quieter when flushing and such. I build all my homes with iron. Iron also lasts much longer than PvC

it's awesome. my rental home has no toilet upstairs a sloping roof in the nathroom, the washing machine, and a sink and shower in an 2x2 metre area which is something like 7feet square, but hey it has a window I didn't have before ;-) no dryer as I don't want one and I couldn't fit it in if I wanted to ;-) I love my sink right in the front of the door opening...not hehe..love your space. Of course the mandatory slatted wall everyone seems to be doing
