I love to watch and hear Tom Bradford teach the Torah. I have been a Jesus follower since I was baptized at 12. My daughter converted to Judaism after her dad passed away in 2014, and that is when I had to learn what she turned to. I have learned so much and have been so sad that the church I went to did not Teach me the Bible. They taught me what they decided I and we needed. I now Torah observant Shabbat, feasts, etc and watch Rabbi Greg at Beth Yeshua Int. in Macon Ga. And Seed of Abraham. Also have learned quite alot from my daughter. Love Torah Sisters magazine. Of course, Life Podcast

Toda rabba again Luke and Kayte for another excellent interview. I enjoyed hearing what Tom Bradford had to say. He and I seem to have had many similar things that have happened in our lives including my first "Jewish New Testament". As soon as the "Complete Jewish New Testament" came out, I was right on board and ordered it. My original is all duck taped up to hold it together. I've since, back in 2001, decided to study the Hebrew language when I bought a Stone Edition Tanach with Hebrew written on the right pages and an English translation written on the left. This all happened while I lived in the wilderness of Alaska so we seemed to have had similar experiences form different USA locales. The Master יהוה Elohim also gave me a love for the Jewish people and an intense desire to visit the Land of Israel. When I heard, in this interview, that he mentioned Joseph Shulam several times, I too had an experience with Joseph Shulam. I have a friend who works for Mr Shulam in Jerusalem who had asked me if I would be interested in writing a story about one of several topics she gave me for their magazine. I, of course, said, "Yes!" and wrote a story entitled, "An Ephraimite In Jerusalem".

Tom’s experience is so parallel to what happened to my husband and me about 25 years ago. Normally a Sunday school class in a Southern Baptist church starts off with ten to fifteen people for a Sunday or two then interest wains and the class shrinks to the eight faithful folks. When a man in the congregation started a “Hebrew Roots of the Christian Faith” class there were maybe 15 people the first day. But rather than shrink the class grew at about 25% each week. Soon we were meeting in the fellowship hall, the largest room other than the sanctuary. And there soon were people from outside the congregation. The pastor became jealous and some members of the congregation complained about “nonmembers using our resources”! They failed to realize the true “ownership” of the buildings is YHVH. Unlike Tom’s congregation the one we were in fractured as the crazy people interested in Torah were rather ungraciously asked to leave though we didn’t in any way attempt to cause division.

I’ve been leaning this way for 35 years. but I’ve had to leave some Torah groups that were a bit extreme; Bringing in a lot of Jewish traditions, rituals and added teachings. I have heard Tom before and found him easy easy to understand. I wasn’t looking for this channel but how timely it is since my sister just sent us a text saying she had found an old letter from my brother 25 years ago saying he had found an interesting book on the Hebrew Christianity. He has since passed so I can’t ask him about that book. It’s possible it was just a study on the book of Hebrews.

You guys are continuously ridiculous! Feasts CANNOT be celebrated in this diaspora just like they couldn't in the previous diaspora. That's why YAH said, "they cease!" Why are you ignoring the Bible? Likewise, there is no comparison to any holiday we want to celebrate (Rom 14) or man has invented (Hanukkah and Purim) to the feasts. No one said to Mordechai, "choose between your pagan invented man-made holiday or Yah's feasts" because it's not a choice. It's apples and oranges. Feasts are not like any other celebration nor can the instructions be nullified. They MUST be celebrated one place on Earth and require the Aaronic priesthood to be functioning. Conversely, the blessings Yah gives us to celebrate also cannot be condemned by you just as we are told by Paul. Solomon tells us to be celebratory of all blessings of Yah. Man doesn't get to put his stamp of "pagan" on any celebration we want to commemorate. Even the angelic realm prophecied that we would celebrate Yeshua's birth henceforth. And don't forget, most of Israel ignored it. Now ask yourself why Yah did not deliver their sons from the murderous edict after they ignored His Son? He sat as JUDGE that day and something made Him very angry to allow the sons of His people to be slaughtered. I think it's a no-brainer. Yet you guys are so blind. You say you haven't picked up the mantle of Judaism when finding Torah but indeed you have. You mimic their sin; the sin of Jeroboam. Finding Torah would mean you don't celebrate a feast outside of the land, without a functioning temple/priesthood and you don't tell people to ignore Yah's words in favor of your group's instructions.
@DavidFardenJr3 күн бұрын
Yeah, if you think so. We may not be on the right schedule as we are a messed up bunch but YAH looks upon our hearts and Isaiah even mentions those that have kept the Shabbat and feasts. Its all from our hearts as we love Yah. Don't be so quick to judge cause I can show scripture showing Yeshua kept feasts, Apostles kept feasts and at that time the calendar was already changed twice and yet Yeshua gave himself up on the Passover of a messed up Calendar. Yah meets us where we are. Shalom to you.
@bmjjjja3 күн бұрын
@@DavidFardenJr Of course they kept feasts, they had a temple and functioning levitical system which are both required. Now tell me about when Israel was vomited from the land and carried off to Babylon as we are. Hebrews 9:1-5, Hebrews 2:11. Did they keep feasts outside of the land "because they are a messed up bunch but Yah looked upon their hearts"? Of course not! It's just silly to ignore Yah's instructions and claim "He looks at my heart" all while breaking His law. This is what Jeroboam did. He kept the feasts elsewhere at a time not determined by Aaron's line and the people followed him in this sin. ALL OF THEM WERE DESTROYED FOR IT. Hebrew roots is simply hitching their wagon to judaism who are also sinning. "Judge with righteous judgment"
@CL-mn1yq3 күн бұрын
Can you time-stamp where these men said feasts can be performed like they were originally?
@CRRBennett3 күн бұрын
We can agree to disagree agreeably . If you disagree, you do not have to watch.
@HAChrist3 күн бұрын
@bmjjjja yes, they may be celebrated if done with love. The reason they are not for you is because you do not have His Love in your heart. It's a heart issue; therefore, repent! You've lost your first love, don't take it out on us, get right with Him. The Aaronic priesthood is only for the sacrificial side of the feasts which was a separate covenant at Mt. Sinai; therefore, anyone can celebrate the feasts without the covenant of Levy. This is your rule not Elohim's and is legalism. What sect of Christianity are you learning this from, since it's not from the Holy Spirit?
