That says a lot about you and your company, not charging the customer the extra .20 cents per foot of material cost. That's awesome that you do that. I know there comes a time where material cost will have to added to your cost but that's awesome that you take care of your customers. Awesome job guys.

You're probably more busy because more people know about you I've never heard of more racing and I'm thinking about ordering a cage kit here in the next few days so I hope you get some more tubing

I agree. We have a decent following but have gotten alot of calls because of the youtube channel. But we are supposed to get more 1 5/8 tommorow! So you should be good!

Im glad i found your channel, you guys do great fab work! Once you go with Docol R8 tubing you wont go back to cr molly. I built a 25.1 chassis car last year with R8, no more tube cleaning and it gives the cage an overall nicer finish during fab.
@mooreracechassis3 жыл бұрын
We wish it was easier to get ahold of. By the time shipping is added and the wait times. Its easier and cheaper to get chromoly. but its been on our radar for awhile.
@Halibrand3 жыл бұрын
@@mooreracechassis Yeah i understand that, i live 2h away from the Docol R8 factory here in Sweden so i can get it delivered within a couple of days. But im in the same boat as you guys when it comes to order race parts from the US, takes weeks to get the parts and on top of shipping cost its +35% in sales tax and import fees.. ;)

We have. Its just kinda tough to get ahold of. as there are no mills in the united states that make it. It all has to come from overseas.

Just ordered a couple shirts from you guys and one of the scrap moly tube boxes you’re killing it 💪🏼 Iv been digging into getting a chassis kit from you guys, need to build a chassis jig first. What’s the jig set up you have for the start of the 25.2 floor bars/frame rails?? Would I be able to start a chassis like that to then put on the table once I start the front and back half?

I have a 1961 Ford falcon I'd like a 60 cert chassis for it chrome Molly and as light as you can build it by the rules how much $
@mooreracechassis3 жыл бұрын
Theres alot of factors that go into that estimate. If you want more information. Please give us a call or Message us directly.

How light could a car built like this be? With like a smallblock blower combo.

I'm new to the channel and was just wondering is the Shop Car for you guys to race and if so what kind of racing are you going to do with it? No Prep,N/T,Radial,Bracket,Class? And I think that car needs some Maven and Motion Raceworks parts on it and also what would be really ideal for that chassis would be a TKM built Stage 3 "Black Sheep" LSX-R 427cid LS with Holley's new dual injectors mid-ram intake with a Wilson Manifolds 105mm hi-boost throttle body with a set of either Fuel Tech,Precision, or Billet Atomizer injectors on M1 with a mechanical fuel pump and mechanical oil pump and dry sump oil system
@mooreracechassis3 жыл бұрын
Mostly grudge and local no prep races most likely. Basically where ever it fits in. We have a bunch of motion and a maven turbo mount going on it. The motor is budget for us as we are spending a decent amount on the chassis. But we do have a holley dual injector base with a shearer fab upper. And it will be on bosch 210s for now. on meth.

I'm in the same boat waiting on tubing from aed even with the 20 cents a foot I'll still be more then happy to pay that compared to that scam called chromoly
@mooreracechassis3 жыл бұрын
Yea its easy to find chromoly. But your paying $12 a foot. Which we wont do. haha so thats why its tough to get.
@chriswagner33523 жыл бұрын
@@mooreracechassis Just curious what aed is charging for 1-5/8 chromoly and docol right now. Locally chromoly is going for about 15 dollars canadian (Have seen up to $18) on the low end which is in the $12US range. At that price range I am not building anything. In 2017 I had a quote on docol for $4.5US a foot, I can't even get dom for less then $8US right now.
@mooreracechassis3 жыл бұрын
@@chriswagner3352 We have a distributer that gets chromoly straight from the mill. So we pay way less than that. But AED was about .30 cents more per inch.

Yo, I see yall doing interrupted 12 bars between the 11 bar. Mines a 25.3c and the nhra tech said to weld them to a 6x6 plate. Is that the same for the 25.2 or does your nhra guy cert without them. Mine has a 6d bar as well.
