Installed the replacement part at no charge. Cust brakes the part and calls me cussing me out and wanted me to order another latch and install it. I bit my lip and ordered it. It took longer than the first part to come in. Customers reamed me out , so I told her not to return to my shop. The proper spelling is “breaks” not “brakes” just trying to help. Brakes are what we use to stop ✋🏻 our vehicle lol again not being a dick just trying to help you my friend. Another is “ I bit my lip and ordered it” why would you bite your lip lol 😂 I think you meant “ I bit my tongue” which just means you kept your mouth shut, sucked it up, and wrote off the loss because you’re a good person and a savy business owner. Ive been a mechanic for over 30 years and at one time had a small shop with a couple mechanics working for me. People are saying that Bill is a rip off, or implying that he does bad business bcuz hes been arrested!?. First off we're talking about the business of taking often times brand new vehicles and designing lift kits or even completely redesigning the type of suspension the vehicle uses out of thin air and making it function without issues....this type of work is not cheap...even factory aftermarket setups arent cheap...secondly dont get it twisted about arrests and work quality. Unless the guy is beating up customers or finds that his shop is the perfect backdrop for domestic violence during business hours which i highly doubt then dont worry about what the man does in his personal life

@@mooremaceoyou're lucky if the police even take your statement after being accused by a woman. The 2nd time is even easier as the police see you have a record of it and don't investigate at all. I have a good friend that broke up with his girlfriend and when he told her to leave she called the police, told them he threatened her with a gun. This was all in an attempt to keep the apartment that was in his name, that he paid all rent and utilities for. The police didn't even ask his side of the story before arresting him and taking him to jail. If it hadn't been for mutual friends that she confided in and told the truth that she was upset and panicked and that he never threatened her. Those friends talked her into doing the right thing by filling out a statement that she lied. She faced zero consequences for her false report and the state still refused to drop the charges. He ended up taking a plea deal because he wasn't confident enough the system would actually get it right, everything up until that point had him already guilty. The plea deal wasn't a felony or DV charge so it allowed him to keep his firearms and he didn't think it was worth the risk to try and fight it. After all that the court made him stay away from his own apartment even though it was in his name and she had zero income. Also was in her home town where she had multiple family members she could have stayed with and he had no family in the area.

The shit people think they can get away with is incredible. On the other hand, Billy Bob and his bucket of nails does not a carpenter make~ goes both ways and word of advice? Don't go cheap route, the right choice is more expensive, longer wait because they're good, not cheap. The worst thing that can happen is to this shop is to get a show. If you look at ANY and EVERY single show that the internet/tv has came along and put their teeth into, they sucked it dry and tore it apart. These shops/stores/businesses were already amazing (that is what got the attention of the networks anyway). The contracts are so over the top as to what each person can say or do. Just take a look at VGG. He has his own channel, his own fans, he is his own boss. Motor Trend tried to buy him, he did a test run and said no. Good for him. He's smart. But look at shows like OCC, Counting Cars, American Pickers, etc... It uses and abuses them and leaves them out to dry.

I get that the titles of these types of videos is to get views but its still kinda lame. Nothing scary about this and without more information about the "family disagreements" its hard to say what actually happened. It obviously couldn't have been anything to serious if he's out and still on tv.

There TV builds are much higher quality than there customer builds. There quality is marginal

My favorite build they did was the old ford truck the nice green one with the light brown interior & all underneath the truck was powder coated to match the interior, it was sitting on air ride that was a sick truck!!!

I absolutely hate videos like this. Keep dling your thing Bill. I know im just feeding the beast by commenting but this dude is passionate about what he does and does incredible work. Not all of them are my favorite but thats the thing, its what the customers are into. F this channel for the title alone.

Don’t judge Bill. We don’t know all details. He seems to be a family man and could be protecting his family.?

Watching Season 7 Episode 1. Bill looks really bad. Thin and sickly. Something isn’t right.

Bro I thought when I was watching this it was going to be something serious man there's a salt every day because family members don't see eye-to-eye man that's just basic that's normal especially where I'm from man I love the show and I love the people that are there. I'm a welder and fabricator and I have been a mechanic my whole life I would love nothing more to work there because they're cool laid-back people man

It figures, jealous people have to dig up some garbage about people to make themselves feel better. Getting arrested for being in a fight can happen every day to anyone, to dig that up will change nobody's feeling about him. They do beautiful work, period. That's what should have been said

prior convictions of family violence an arrest assault that caused injury accidents lawsuits for shoddy workmanship yeah i dontthink id consider using this shop even if i could afford it or had any interest in anything ive seen coming out of that shop
@jondoe4667 Жыл бұрын
This was stupid. The assault couldn't have been that bad because 20k isn't a huge bond considering you usually only have to come up with ¹⁰% of it

honestly unless you are in the inner circle, everything is just speculation until the actual receipts come out. as a car enthusiast and someone who used to assist with car and engine builds as a hobby I can honestly say that his work is on point. If it wasn't he would not have a show and celebs/ people with money would not be approaching him to build custom one offs.

Where was the scary secrets shit I'm Irish American we fight at weddings and funerals and price is based of different factors and isn't bad considering the builds and an employee leaving because of COVID last time I checked bill didn't create the virus or spread the false information about it and you can be the nicest guy but at the end of the day he's got a biz to run you'll never please everyone

The show should be called, "How to completely ruin a perfectly good truck". Watch Iron Resurrection if you want to see tasteful builds of high quality.

Watched them totally ruin a ZL1camaro to there defense, maybe that’s what the customer wanted .Seemed silly to ruin a ZL1 just use a 30.000 6 cyl 1LT.

Bottom line Bill Carlton is a good man. He works hard takes care of his employees and his neighborhood. You can’t ask for anything better than that who cares about his past he’s awesome Bill rocks!!!! 🥳🎉💥 and the shop puts out the best work ever some of those builds are thousands of man hours in each and everyone is custom, unique and amazing works of art.

If you’re aiming for top-notch work on your vehicle, it’s essential to visit the best auto builders in town. Quality comes at a price. The process may take some time. Once the job is complete, you’ll have a stunning and attention-grabbing vehicle. Personally, I prefer that they take their time rather than rush through it.”
