Great video Peter and I am shocked to hear that some people gripe and complain on this channel who would of thought, as if some had nothing better to do. You are spot on with your assesment of vessel performance curves and all of the propoganda put out by manufactures. We are very excited to see the boat progressing and admire your determination. I have been a huge advocate of aluminum sailing vessels for many years, I doubt we will be able to start our journey on one, however it remains our ultimate goal. Thanks for all the inspiration!

Hey Peter. I will be glad to see you back on the water! I'm sure you will welcome it also. I don't mind the boat build though. For 42 years as a welder/ moldmaker machinist I crafted with metal. Aluminum was one of the metals I welded a lot. Mostly TIG. Now being retired for 15 years we travel the country, and I play music wherever we land. We celebrate 54 years together in a week. We have come a long way since we had everything we owned in a 1966 Mustang and went from fort to fort while I served in 1970. Keep up the good work and maybe get rid of Rogan, he is a nut! That dinghy ladder is a great idea. But the boat needs rounded corners and some foam or rubber protection all around. You wouldn't want to scratch every boat you visit.
