I shot heroin and meth for years and I’m coming up on around 10 years soon. I seen and heard stuff using too and I’m glad it stopped after I quit. Lol, but I did think “they” we’re still after me for a few years afterward though. Life’s great now and I barely even think about it unless it’s brought up anymore. It’s almost like it was a dream or someone else now, it’s hard to explain

I miss the simplicity of being an addict. I like how he still painted that simplicity in an honest and positive way.
