multiply 1.42 billion * 40k dollars = 60 trillion $ economy approx. do u think this is possible. there is no enough markets to drive such growth. so india has to aim to be a developed country not aim for some 4 5 trillion economy. given present situation maharashtra and tamil nadu should alone have 3-4 trillion dollars each. few cities can be developed but india as a whole wont be developed country not in this reality. plus today's world is much more difficult to do business than back in the 80s and 90s. east asia realized this and luckily they made it.

small scale and mid scale industry and service providers, thats what is important 40 trillion,50 trillion is immaterial if the growth is jobless and top corporates are all that succeed, there should be a market share diktat, for labour intensive sectors, like food and baverages, garments, chemicals, metals and retail markets, indian villages need to be given boost not only with service start up opportunities but also paying capacity. all the people talk of just the big startups which is detrimental to a sustainable economy, for harmony and prosperity, the growth should be collective and not of tatas and ambanis.

Agreed. Climate Change will not allow growth in India the way it is predicted. In next few years, most parts of India and world would cross temperature survivable limit for humans and animals. God knows what will happen.

@@ashwinnema06like what? Are you stupid? Maybe in 3024. 😂 japan got blasted and hit by tsunami twice and still it's 4T economy. And you are worrying about 2°C breach😅 that sounds so silly. This country have brilliant minds, they'll figure out something even if tough times.

Anyone who believes that India can go from 3 trillion to 35 trillion by 2047 is utterly stupid. It means cagr of 10.78% whereas historical average for India lies between 5-7% Not sure on what basis we can confidently say that we are going to achieve double of that and that too consistently for next 24 years.
