Benjamin Morrison is a projected top 15 pick, shut down Marvin Harrison JR twice. Xavier Watts came back after being widely considered the best safety in the league. The secondary is elite. Jeremiah Love and Jadarian Price at RB are absolutely Elite, they were untouchable in the open field. Love moved through a slim crack in the line for his TD. To say ND has no elite players and talking about 5 stars TAMU had when ND has the same blue chip rating is wild. This is my favorite show. Josh is my favorite analyst. Definition of a professional but that elite talent take seems devoid of information.

Agree - have been watching Pate for a few years now, but he's starting to talk himself in circles. ND has some elite pieces and that's obvious. Georgia is clearly better. Ohio state is better. I'll assume Bama is better, but won't be surprised if they aren't. Everyone else has to prove it.

I beg to differ on one point, Josh! The ND secondary is elite. Morrison, Watts, and now Gray is on the rise. The secondary is very good. Marvin Harrison Jr only had 36 yards receiving against ND in 2023, and I think the 2024 secondary is better.

Love the show but have to disagree on one thing. Notre Dame does have an elite secondary. Now, that’s not me saying they are going to match up everywhere with the Georgia’s and Ohio State’s but they do have at least one elite unit on that team. As for my Aggies, tough loss but I’m glad we were competitive with a top ten team in Elko’s first game. Conner didn’t look great but let’s see how the next two games go before casting further judgement. I’m looking very keenly at the Florida game in two weeks. If Miami can go into the swamp and decimate them the way they did, no reason we can’t go in and get a W. That game will tell us what the Aggies really are.

I really appreciate your show and today was literally the epitome of why. I watched the Oregon game and yes the o-line was terrible and the game was concerning but also most of the too many penalties came on Oregon third downs and pushed them back to a third and long with a bad o line which kept them out of the end zone. BUT the defense played pretty darn good. Idaho scored on 2 crazy trick plays but got shut down as they should’ve otherwise. Stressful game that was worrisome but you analyzed it and I could tell you actually watched it. Other people cough cough Greg McElroy amongst others just trashed them and said their defense was bad. Thank you for always giving an honest take on all teams

That Oregon game was rough. However their Starting center was playing RG and their Center was a walk on... not ideal and from the sounds of it had trouble making pre snap reads. My biggest concern was the lack of confidence. Hopefully this gets worked out in the 1st 3 games because that won't cut it in B10 play.

Fr I don’t think it can be underscored how bad UF messed up hiring sun belt billy. He was hired in 2022. These were some of the options UF passed on: Dan Lanning, Brian Kelly, Lincoln Riley, Kalen Deboer, Marcus Freeman, Brent Venables, Mario Christobal, Rhett Lashlie, Mike Elko and Sonny Dykes. Every Single one of these guys have been hits. Sun belt Billy is on pace to be one of the worst p5 coaches ever. Stricklin and the uf Athletic department is cancerous. The only way to stop cancer is to cut it out. The swamp needs to be drained top down UAA to equipment manager. If DJ, McCray, Wilson and others transfer so be it. Healthy tissue is often removed in cancer treatment. This has to be done if UF wants to get back to being a great football program. - A pissed and Frustrated UF fan.

You are gonna get a bunch of subscribers that aren't watching your videos if you have people who don't use KZbin subscribe to you. Then, the algorithm will notice that your subscribers aren't watching your videos and subsequently stop showing you in people's recommended tab. Sidenote: It's a sad world when choosing a name for the algorithm is a reasonable choice. It's just a poor name and it'd have been better as "The JP Show" or something really simple. I understand that the current name of the show will make it show up when people search "college football" and related searches, but it will also make your show harder to find when people are specifically looking for you. Which one outweighs the other will be determined in time. And oh yeah, what happened to talking about winners first? You are probably my most watched KZbin channel for the past year or so (yes, even through the... offseason), and I absolutely love the show and have been watching it for multiple years.
