Ep #55 BLABFEST: surrounded by Quilty goodness

I love molasses cookies. Plus when I make bread, I add molasses to the batter. I haven't made bread in over a year. I used quite a lot during the pandemic. KZbin bakers to watch. I also add it to banana bread recipe. Time to whip up a some! Marion

Lorrie the snowman was a perfect choice for your beautiful Christmas quilt. Love your weather blocks the colors are amazing. The St. Jude blanket is really cute and your mystery quilt turned out fantastic. Have a wonderful weekend and I'll catch up next Friday. Blabfest! Oh Lorrie! How I love your quilt tops! I think adding the snowman to your quilt was perfect! And right next to more snowmen. The individual blocks from the St. Jude blanket are sweet. Weather blocks are bright, sunny and warm. The Mediterranean style quilt, was that a quilt guild book reading project? What was the name of the book, please? It is really has a different non traditional look to it. Nifty! Thank you for showing my quilt projects. I took a couple days off from sewing. I'm grateful to see Diana's projects. I hope she feels better soon. I've been invited to a little holiday party on Sunday. Gift exchange. 😐. I was thinking a bowl cozy or a couple of pot holders. Thank you, Diana for the pot holder idea. I had a volunteer shift with the Red Cross yesterday. I also donated a pint of blood. Yay! Time to fill up with dark chocolate, which increases iron levels.😋. Take it easy. Marion

Thank you for the compliments! The Mediterranean quilt was part of an on line Murder Mystery Quilt…one more month to solve the mystery. The book was written by the company that publishes it…released one chapter at a time. A party sounds like fun…and those will be great exchange gifts! You are wonderful to help with a Red Cross shift 🥰! Molasses helps increase iron levels, too. Yum…dark chocolate! Have a great weekend!
