Ep 55 Our 302 engine for the Fairlane is ready!!!!!

In this episode we pick up Jennifer's 302 engine that belonged to her friend, Carrie from the machine shop and begin assembly. We round up a bunch of parts and Jennifer has a heat stroke! East Texan here , it may be old school, but it works , get a hand towel , wet it with ice water and wrap it around your neck. It will help keep you cooler and drink 20 ounces of filtered room temperature water an hour , cold water makes your body temperature hotter. Love you guys and Miss Jen please keep hydrated

Just a suggestion to further your channel , take the cam gear and one piston from Carrie make a trophy type thing as a give away to a subscriber in some type of contest , such as how many miles per gallon Sofia gets in town or on the hiway or elapsed time on the drag strip , yall are smart people, yall can come up with something, and some lucky subscriber gets to have a part of Carrie to love and share the story of her life with others

I built that engine stand and used a wrom drive set that worked on elect. motor set up. You can buil an adapter to mount.

I always wanted to try to make my engine stand rotate using a flex plate and a starter gear but never got around to it. It would take some fabrication but I think it would be neat

Y'all have very relatable content to most gearheads on your channel. It's one of my favorite channels on KZbin. I think the boroscope footage was really cool. I've had a few bracket racing cars, a couple 69 Novas, and a 79 Malibu. Chevy stuff, but I like Ford stuff as well. Just really enjoy hot rods in general like most folks I think. We have a NAPA store in the small town where I live. But all they do is sell parts. There is one machine shop in the next town over from me. And since he's the only game in town as of Jan.2024 he upped his prices on all of the work that he does.
