I'm a model kit collector my..i remember my first model kit that I built when I was 12 years old, it was a revell MIG-29 Fulcrum jet fighter..and then I started doing the model car kits and then as I got older I was building cars, trucks, vans, jet and helicopter model kits..i just turned 43 years of age two weeks ago and I still enjoy doing this because it's a good stress reliever👍👍👍😃😃😃

My ol man was always putting models together when I was growing up. I never picked up the hobby. I am now 34years old and have a dedicated area with new kit tools and paints I'm adding almost daily and have dove headfirst into loving model building. Now I have videos to watch when I have no models to fidget with. Thanks for the videos bud.

Luka, Thanks for sharing. These models are our history. Each one has their own story and places you back in time to what was going on in your life, also what you were into plus your level of building skills. ROCK ON! BUILD STRONG!

Thanks for sharing your old builds. Really neat details. Wish I had my old cars I built when I was younger. I totally remember building the ford EXP. I did it box stock, what you did was amazing. I’m doing my first kit bash for a pro street build and going to try to hinge the trunk. I’ll be watching. Thanks

These junkyard videos are so cool, thanks for showing them, I love anybody's model car journey and that 69 GTO is so cool. Also love the old photos. The oldest model I have is an AMT 55 Nomad I built as a gasser back in the mid 90s when I was a teenager.

It would be like selling one of your children . Some people don't get how attached we can get to our old kits all the time and effort and enjoyment we put into building them. But I do get how envious we are by seeing all these neat cars, good stuff man

I used to work at a track that had a dragstrip. One of the regulars had been talking about building a rocket powered dragster. After what felt like months. He finally brought it in. 2 hours of fiddling, and obsessing. He set it on the track. The entire store ( actually a factory ) of about 20 people stood still quietly in anticipation of seeing something truly spectacular. With a pull of the trigger. And in less than half a second. The car had zipped down the strip. Hit the bean bags left there to cushion the impact ( setting them on fire as it went. ) And launched itself out the front door. We ended up finding the bloody thing by torch light about 80 feet away in the car park next door. Just one of the stories of working at a slot car track in the early 2000s. Fun times. lol

Hell that was back in the 70’s but damn I liked all those little bottles of Testors paints! Oh their all alright nowadays but nothing like their old stuff! Anyways, cool stuff Luka Cee!

I see all your model kits behind you in your videos, dude you've got a lot of older stuff if love to get ahold of. My wife pokes fun cause I have quite a few non put together kits. I'm more into cars, trucks, and big rigs w/ trailers. Trailers I've noticed are getting harder to find. Anyway I've just hit your subscribe button and I like the fact your into the same stuff I am, that is cool. I will be watching more of your videos, I guarantee it.

Joe Ruttman was 1 green flag lap away from winning Richmond in '82 when his rear end came apart allowing Dave Marcis to get his lap back and his last Cup victory. If I ever get to do a diorama it's going to be of that moment. Care to sell it? lol I kid, I kid.

@killiam28684 жыл бұрын
One of the very first kits I owned was a 69 roadrunner it came in 3 versions stock strip and offroad it had a baja option the box was hand drawn with the car in offroad option the car was white facing from right to left across the whole side was the roadrunner wearing helmet and goggles tearing out on a drag slick I've been looking for years for it I asked in model chat clubs for help too and they came up with a 72 the same way but wrong thing been across the internet searching

That box art does not sound familar. Best thing to do is hunt on google to find a photo of it. Then post it up.on the Facebook groups.
@killiam28684 жыл бұрын
Cannot find a picture of it all from memory early 70s I do believe it's a mpc the flip down of the box had drawn pics of the optional parts just thought maybe someone had seen it before I got the kit when I was 10 ish I've been hunting for 37 years or so

@@killiam2868 What you are describing is the MPC 1973 Road Runner. It had a roll bar, a skid plate for under the car, and off road lights for the roof.

Do you ever work in 1/32 scale?
@TheLukaCeeChannel4 жыл бұрын
I had to think about that for a sec. No. I never had. Not that I have anything aganst that scale. Just never found a subject i was interested in. OH WAIT! I did once. In the 80s. I built a 70 Trans Am from Monogram. Now I want to find that kit! It was neat.

The Luka Cee Channel The reason I’m asking is because I am building a 1970 Camaro Slot Car from Scalextric. Originally it was a busted Tony Delorenzo car. I want to find someone to cut and hinge the hood and build a small engine bay with a blown big block so I can use it for a dragster. The average motor in those cars has 18,000 RPMs and I found a supplier that makes it a motor that’s a drop in replacement all you have to do is trim the shaft length and it has 80,000 RPMs. I’m hoping with a strong enough magnet it will stay on the track and I can make an awesome dragster.
@TheLukaCeeChannel4 жыл бұрын
I did a video on how to cut open doors snd hoods. I have a how to hinge video in the planning. As for someone to do it. I do not know of anyone.

Best thing to do is get on our group and other modeling groups and ask there. There are thousands of builders that you can resource that info. I cant snap my finger and just have a tutorial just for you on how to do major scratch building. I get tons of IMs and I cannot get with or answer every single one. I only have some much time. And to personally contact you to do a personal teaching on how to do that. Well how many other modelers right here on this channel would love that. There are over 8k subs alone. Plus over 8k on the group. Not to.mention. When you first IM me. When I didnt get right back to you. 2 days later you got nasty about it. Right there. I was done with you. Thrn to top.it of you left shitty comment on a few of my videos. What makes you more important than all of these other builders that I OWE you the personal attention at the snap of your fingers? There are Fellow Modelers that donate money to the channel that dont expect that from me. Like David Goodwin. He has been my longest supporter. Ask him how long it took me to get back to him once. But i will give you advice on a cowl hood. Buy one from a resin caster. AND DONT HOUND THEM to treat you special. Thats how I did it on the black 69 Camaro.

You should have drawings for your model car kits that you no longer want for your subscribers. Daily or weekly i would subscribe to your channel for a chance to win model cars and subscribers should be allowed to win multiple cars!
