Wendy & Kevin, I just have to say that I love the way you two sail! The synergy and purpose always ring true and how you manage to also put a quality video of it all together is inspiring. I have traveled these routes single-handed on my HC 43 and remember well the beautiful hours that part of the world affords. Kudos to you and your efforts. You bring truth to the sailing life!!

Hi Thomas. Thanks for the kind words. I'm always so impressed with the single-handers. We can barely do it with two on board. Anyway, there's not a day that goes by when we don't look around and just marvel at where we are. It's fun, scary, exciting, maddening ... a real roller-coaster sometimes. But as I said to a commenter earlier, the channel is about showing the real life as it comes to us. So much to see and do.

Loved Mahon. Spent several days there waiting for a crew change. Walked the city and had a wonderful time as it was the start of the Christmas season and the lights and booths just went up.

Very cool. Yes, we loved Mahon and can't wait to get back. We have a busy schedule planned for next year and we're hoping to get visit again. It's one of those places that is bigger than it appears. There are all sorts of cool things to do there, and gin is the local hot product. Locally distilled gin is sold everywhere and it is surprisingly good. Thanks for being with us.

I enjoyed this, and paid close attention. I'm getting my boat ready in Texas. I also looked at the one on instruments, I'm involved in that now. Good photography.

Good afternoon Wendy and Kevin, I just recently came across your four year journey from Lake Granby to the Med. I really enjoyed watching your selection of potential boats to purchase and the reasons why you chose not (or in the case of Talisman) to purchase. I also watched how you went about repairing your roller furling main. I did some sailing a couple of generations ago and have wanted to get back on the water since. These are very interesting and informative videos. Too bad I started watching your blog so late or I might have been able to visit with you when you were near Gib. However if you ever sail near Malaga, Spain, drop me a line. I would love to visit with you two and maybe show my lady what a quality (and affordable) liveaboard sail boat is like. Michael

Hi Michael. We flew in and out of Malaga when we were in Gib. It was a beautiful city. We took a taxi in from our airport hotel for a night out and found a fantastic restaurant. All the lights were up (it was near Christmastime) and we really enjoyed ourselves. We'll eventually get back toward the Costa del Sol and Gib, but probably not for a while as we have another summer planned here in and around Greece. Thanks so much for watching.

This was a real pleasure to watch. Thanks for sharing. Where are you heading next?

Hi Bill. Talisman is getting hauled for the winter here in Preveza, Greece on Friday. All her sails are off and I'm having a shipping container placed next to the boat so we can fully empty her of all personal items in prep for the various winter projects we have planned.
