Such cinematic shots in this video! Crazy how bright it was during the middle of the night. Plan D: Despair so accurately represents sailing sometimes lol loved the video!

Well that just goes to show that life can’t always be plain sailing. Another great episode though. 👍

I think we are overdue some plain sailing!

Brilliant video! I seem to spend my entire time sorting issues on the boat after each sail, Tony is clearly very good at sorting stuff on the hoof which is essential 💪⛵️🛠️

We know the feeling! The boat jobs list may slowly get smaller, but it never fully comes to an end. Thankfully Tony is very good at improvising a fix underway. We are currently budgeting even harder than usual in hopes of being able to install a watermaker later this year, so that one will be a rewarding project at least!

@@CutterboveSailing I am looking at putting together a DIY water maker next year, just to take 1 less area of hassle away. The Med is ok for filling up but the Caribbean seemed a bit trickier ?
@CutterboveSailing8 ай бұрын
@jonathanbisson2835 we are a little behind time with our videos... just to clarify 😄 Catching up though. The Med we found was fine, and so far the Caribbean has been okaaaay BUT that has something to do with the fact that we really do use water painfully sparingly and can make 700L last an outrageously long time. We would like to be able to not worry about it and rinse the salt out of our hair more! Our understanding is once in the Pacific it's a different ballgame entirely and water can be tough to find. Also... visitors aren't quite as sparing with it as we are 😅

@jonathanbisson2835 and let us know how you get on with the DIY watermaker! Always keen to know what others put together onboard and how.

at 14:40 not sure if laughing or crying! Both! Great video guys and it's never an adventure whilst you're living it.
@CutterboveSailing8 ай бұрын
Both were reasonable in the moment I think 😅 It's never good being so tired that you can't remember which island you've just sailed to, and even worse catching it on camera!

Good afternoon, and first of all an affectionate greeting to you. I'll tell you something, not so secret: If you dare to go to the Caribbean, it will be better, much better than that cold and melancholic Mediterranean, in fact being in the Caribbean you are at the same time in... 🇪🇸🇬🇧🇲🇫🇳🇱🇵🇹 being ALL DIFFERENT. Also here you dance Calipso, Salsa, merengue, bachata, Son, Ballenato, Cumbia, Rumba and you never get bored Come ON

The Med is beautiful, but we do like consistent sunshine... and wind... consistent wind! We'd have had a very different Med experience if we hadn't bounced between all or nothing in that aspect. I think we have a better chance of finding pirate gold than getting Tony to dance though 🤣 Will let you know if we ever strike lucky with either!

@@CutterboveSailingWell, it was goodwill advice, I used euphemisms. Well, then I give you this English proverb... "Ne'er cast a clout till May be out" think about it 👌
