IT'S JIM FROM BASILDON ESSEX. IT'S GREAT TO SEE YOU BACK REALLY MISSED THE VIDEOS. YOU ARE THE ONE WHO GOT ME INTO TRIKEING. I'VE ALWAYS LOVED CYCLING AND WHEN I COULDN'T DO IT ANYMORE IT WAS HARD TO HANDLE. I'VE HAD FIVE MAJOR SPINAL OPERATIONS HIP REPLACEMENT AND I'M IN LINE FOR A KNEE REPLACEMENT FAIRLY SOON. I GOT MY TRIKE THREE YEARS AGO NOW AND I HAVEN'T LOOKED BACK. IT'S LOVELY TO HAVE THE FREEDOM AND THE ABILITY TO RIDE AGAIN WITHOUT ALL THE STRESS TO MY BACK AND JOINTS A CONVENTIONAL CYCLE CAUSES. SO IF YOU HAVE GIVEN TO OTHER PEOPLE AS WELL WELL DONE. GREAT TO SEE YOU BACK.

@TimsTrikeTrips4 ай бұрын
Oh Jon, it's been a conversation many times. It's just not her thing. 🤔 To be fair I like touring alone too. It allows me so much more freedom... go where I want, eat what, where and when I want etc. etc. That isn't to say I wouldn't enjoy the company but company brings with it other responsibilities too. Great comment though. May be worthy of a tent talk sometime.

It is good to see you back riding, and my friend who I ride with told me that you were back. The last ride I saw you in was when your front sprocket broke. I have made a lot of changes to my Hp trike by removing the motor and placing a 12 speed Pinion on the front and a 14 Rolloff hub on the rear. The weight of the motor and two batteries weight about 50 lbs. When climbing the mountains here in Tennessee they are about 10 to 20 percent grade, the motor would quit working . I also bought another ICE full fat trike for riding off road.. I have been having trouble bending the bolt on the chain tension wheel under neath the seat. So I only ride my hp trike on the greenways and flat ground. I have always dreamed to do what you are doing, but I am mostly confined to my wheel chair. My family helps me on my trike and I usually ride about 18 to 20 miles, and try to do that twice a week. But I have to have someone with me all the time that I am riding. If I push it I usually have a seizors. So thanks for posting your videos,, I really enjoy them. Dennis Smith
@TimsTrikeTrips4 ай бұрын
Hi Dennis. Good to hear from you. I've lost count of the bolts I replaced on that wheel. I thought it was just me. I'll be lucky to be able to remove it once this tour is done. I noticed it was bent again last week. 🤷♂️
