Is it worth getting a fan or does the vent do a good enough job? I'll be using my van primarily in Eastern and Northern Europe, so it will be humid at times but not overly warm. Any advice (anyone)?

i suggest you to NOT use SIKAFLE 512 for SEALING... better use DEKASEAL 8936 because it will keep elastic. SIKAFLEX is more a glue than a sealer (compared to dekaseal)

you should use sikaflex 521 UV for sealing around roof vents and cable glands
