What's the use of a junk journal?

I like to use junk journals to write, draw, paint, and express artistically using many different techniques and media. I also like to keep little mementos in them. They can be used like diaries with pictures and other things that inspire us. Some people may like to use them as albums, too. I love the fact that papers are not just white and blank, they are usually collections of different papers and book pages that are often recycled. I enjoy the process of creating and decorating them, same way I would enjoy painting a picture. They can be completed works of art, too, and admired for their beauty only. I could go on and on, but I hope I gave some idea on what junk journals are. 😊❤️
